They are hypocritical, sweeping bullying and issues of race, gender, and sexuality under the rug. It is a good school from an education standpoint, however. It prepared me well for college, but the Bible curriculum is outrageously useless and outdated, save for the senior teacher. Even still, the good education wasn't worth the hate I experienced there. Don't send your kids to Harding Academy.

There is an indoor gym stocked with rolling toys, tumbling mats, and climbing equipment/slides, as well as an outdoor play area and comfortable classrooms for each age group. Most of the staff have a college degree, which is in contrast to many of the programs that we looked at when we moved to Memphis. The teachers are all so very kind and patient with the toddlers, and the experience is very play-based (no screens/computers/iPads for the littles, which is a plus for me)! The entrance is secure (locked when the children are there), and each of the three times (in a year) that my son has had a "boo-boo" he has been treated appropriately and I've been notified promptly. The teachers have followed our dietary preferences with no questions or problems, and I get a daily report about what activities my son enjoyed and how he napped. We also have individual conferences with the teachers once each semester. My two year-old comes home talking about his teachers and his friends, and he LOVES going to school. The classes are small, so he gets a lot of attention. I'm a happy mama!
