My company booked an event for our 40-person team to write a theme song for our company. It was an incredible experience, starting with brainstorming what we do as a company in order to write our chorus as a group. Then we split into two groups and each wrote a verse. My group worked with Tiffany Goss, who is talented, cool and an overall excellent human. The other group worked with Rusty Tabor (who also helped us with the chorus) and he is absolutely fantastic, too. I expected this to be a fun activity, but I didn't expect to be blown away! I originally scheduled an on site meeting in Nashville with my team that included a Team Building exercise with Kidbilly Music. Billy was friendly, helpful, and responsive to my questions and he is a pleasure to work with. However, giving the increase in COVID cases there, I decided to hold the meeting virtually. Billy was happy to do this virtually and had me look at examples of virtual sessions online and we sent forward with it. We engaged Kidbilly Music for a team building workshop at our conference in Nashville. Our organization is the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF), and we bring together the entire pulmonary fibrosis (PF) community including patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, researchers and the pharmaceutical industry once every other year. Since this year's conference was scheduled for Nashville, it seemed natural to incorporate music into our program. Working with Kidbilly was seamless, communication and contracting were prompt, cordial, and concise--it could not have gone more easily. They engaged about 50 of our patients and caregivers in writing a song during a morning session, and later brought those same people up on stage to perform our song for our entire group of about 800 people that night at our networking dinner. They received a well deserved standing ovation, and there were not many dry eyes in the house. I would wholeheartedly recommend working with this amazing group of talented musicians. read more
