The spot itself can hold up to about 40 people. It is a little tight but it works. You can bring your own snacks and beverages. There's a table in the front for you to set them and I guess as long as you let everyone know that it's yours no one else will eat it... We just kept it on our own table since we have people that did not make it to class. We started late-about 30 minutes and we ended late. It appeared that we were waiting on a group of about 6 ladies. It gave us time to get our wine and cheese together! The directions that show up online are incorrect. They told us to go to south 9th but the address is actually the one listed on this post. This was a grand opening so maybe that's why. Anyway, great time and I would definitely recommend it!

Um, no...we were all on time so let's get this party started. I don't really care for doing 2 different paintings in one sitting because you have half the class just sitting there waiting. I understand it gives more variety, but it just felt rushed. Overall we had a good time and we are likely to go again but I iust ask to start on time. The folks who are late can just play catch up when they decide to show. ;)

I found this place on Groupon they had a deal on splatter paint and other services but decided to…read morebook their Freaky Friday BYOB Trap & Paint directly through their site instead. It was a drop in event so you could arrive anytime between 8pm and 11pm. On arrival there were no instructions beyond grab an apron and canvas and sit wherever. If I didn't frequent sip and paint events I would have been completely lost. The canvas designs was cute and there were several adult themed ones for "Freaky Friday". The brushes and paint were definitely low quality and wouldn't mix/ blend well. There were no rags or paper towels however we did receive a few napkins. All of the supplies honestly gave very much Dollar Tree. During the event, the entire studio was illuminated by a red light which was not conducive to a painting experience. You couldn't see the true colors you were using or mixing without utilizing the flashlight from our cellphones. Even still the red looked orange. I'm not sure if the "DJ" was the owner/manager. It seemed they were playing music of a music app but instead of having a playlist he was playing random songs which was not making smooth transitions.

There is not paint inside the water guns, its just water color. And you get the scrappy dollar store water guns. You cant paint with it, it ruins your entire canvas if you do. Its literally just to spray the walls and each other if you want to. Our service was poor, everyone was running around like a chicken with their head cutoff. We showed up for our 6 o'clock class and didnt get painting until close to 6:45 because we were just waiting around for someone to get us started. For what it is, I think it's way too expensive. $45 to paint a canvas in a blacklist setting... wild. The paint and canvas you use probably costs $7, if that.
