The therapists there were very indifferent and were lack of compassion for what they were doing. One time, I worked with the site manager that I did not know until later. She had her hands in her pockets the whole time. She gave me instructions as if i were not a person let alone a patient to her. She stood there with slouched back, very unpleasant. Considering I had aches and pains and also I was very anxious about my physical health, her presence was just very depressing. Their service is not worthy of my $35 copayment, let alone the total of $374.96 including the payment from my insurance. I would not recommend anyone to go to ATI. Thumbs down

Heard good things about this place, and my 1st full PT session here was great, but after that…read morethings went downhill & stayed there. Ended up seeing 6 therapists in less than 2 months, not by my choice. I routinely showed up to see one therapist and was given another therapist, even when the therapist I was supposed to see was there working w/ other patients the entire time. More than once, I was handed off to a new therapist in the middle of a PT session w/ no explanation. The last time, the therapist who randomly stopped mid-session spent the rest of my session (about 25 minutes) chatting/laughing with another patient, then another therapist, and sporadically typing on her laptop, none of which seemed like a good reason to quit mid-session. With another therapist, I ended up on my cell phone (or watching other patients on theirs) while we waited for him to get back to us. He was trying so hard, I felt bad for him, but he literally had 4 patients booked at the same or overlapping times! The only explanation I ever got for any of this (and I had to ask, they don't volunteer any info) was it's routine to book multiple patients at once. Two patients at the same time seems ok, but who can effectively juggle four at once? It's no wonder that with all this changeover, I wasn't getting much out of PT. When I'd had enough and called to cancel my future sessions, I was put on the phone w/ my "original" (actually 2nd) therapist who told me ATI policy is a maximum of 2 therapists per patient. Ok, but then why did she say nothing that morning when I walked in to see her again, she pointed me to another therapist (2nd one that morning), then she saw another therapist (3rd one) step in to finish my PT? Why'd she sound so surprised on the phone when I said I'd seen too many therapists? She's not a bad person or therapist, but no one at ATI seems to be in charge of making sure patients receive decent or consistent care. Maybe ATI is having staffing issues, but that's still no excuse for such poor communication and patient management. It's just rude and disrespectful to never give ANY explanation for last minute changes. Not before, not during, and not even after several appointments like this. I had high hopes for ATI, but agree with Cheryl C.'s review from Aug 2019. It's been 5 years and it feels like things have only gotten worse. I will not be going back.

Recently I had a horrible spell of acute dizziness and this time I could not walk in fear of falling. I went to my doctor and she thought it was either migraines or Vertigo. She handed me directions to do at home for vertigo symptoms and sent me on my way! I tried to follow the instructions but it was impossible to read and do the movements at the same time because of severe dizziness. I took matters into my own hands and searched for help! I found "FYZICAL" Therapy & Balance Center in Bedford. I immediately reached out and made an appointment. As I walked into the center I was greeted by Ali a young woman at the front desk. She was so kind,helpful and made me feel at ease. Alexa Holm's the clinical director brought me into the therapy room and listened to me. She thought it was vertigo and could treat me! As tough as it was to go through the movements I did it! It was only with Alexa's expertise, and experience I was successful! Each appointment I was feeling better! For the first time in years I can do things I couldn't do without feeling dizzy! I am so grateful to Alexa she gave me back my mobility without feeling dizzy! Yes Five Stars. Not given lightly. My father first used this company because of a friend's…read morerecommendation a year ago. He had just had a pace-maker installed and needed help at home. Complete Private Home Care sent out various people to handle everything we needed, carefully following his Primary Care Physician's list. This included an initial consult with Sue and then Danielle the nurse in charge of all the other aides and therapists. I know their names because I had to use them again after my father ended up in the hospital again this time with pneumonia. I didn't have much experience with home health workers when I hired Complete Home Health. However because of my age (mid 50s) I have had too much experience with my friend's parent's aides and assisted living situations. Also I had to oversee aides in Texas for my grandparents. So while I had not personally hired but one aide before (freelance--without an agency--also a friend's recommendation) I do feel able to award those five stars. What sets them apart? First they are very professional. I think perhaps because they are a smaller company, they are on top of each of their clients. They always knew who I was, and who my dad was and which workers were involved in his care. The co-ordinator Jon has a handle on all the clients. Next, the Administrative nurse has a great list of caregivers she can call upon. My father had problems swallowing and was prone to inhalation pneumonia, the therapists helped him learn strategies for eating. Physical therapists taught him to get him up walking again, home assessors came for safety. Further, they took a huge load from my shoulders by communicating with my father's Primary Care Physician at Harvard, so I did not need to still be in charge of all that on top of all the rest I was in charge of. Finally, all the people were loving and I never worried someone would steal from us or hurt my dad. They demonstrated far more patience than frankly, I had left in me. They suggested intelligent solutions to home problems such as different pill containers, cutting back shrubs for ease on stairs, removing certain roll around chairs, etc. They responded Immediately, and were able to be at the house within 4 hours of suddenly learning he was being released from rehab. When I was forced to hire them for out of pocket 24 hour care, they were able to make this far more affordable by charging for blocks of hours. Because we had installed 2 Drop-cams we could see that the 24 hour aides were never more than 20 feet away. This is a fabulous company. Hire them and feel safe. If you are like me, you need it.
