Several issues with daycare…read more High schoolers that are related to the owner work in the daycare. Not a problem as long as they are good workers, but they often have random friends or boyfriends hanging out in the rooms with them. I would pick up my two daughters and there would be random high school or just out of high school aged men/boys in both of their rooms. The teacher for the 3 and up class is lovely, but her husband is the "fix it" guy. The daycare director said he hangs around to clean and fix things. He was in the room everyday no matter what time I dropped off or picked up my daughter. He was a full fledged care giver and when I asked if he was transitioning from one job to another the director flat out lied and said he was never alone with kids and he never watched them. I walked twice to find him screaming and kids no older than 3. Both times he froze and didn't say another word. My daughter often told me about him threatening to hit kids with his hammer and screaming when he was mad. After I confronted him about some of the older kids playing a game with my 3 year old where they were "touching her booty under dress" he told her that if she didn't like then to get them back. The kitchen lady also yells and treats the kids like garbage. I wish I could have hired the ladies in the new baby room because they were awesome.

Being a first time mom with a newborn, i carefully researched every childcare place in the area. The infant room has everything you can imagine to know your little one is safe. We registered my daughter 8 months in advance of her enrollment date and I spoke with the staff several times throughout that period to discuss paperwork, confirming each time that we were still on for our scheduled enrollment date. Then out of no where they call us to say that they overbooked and we were being dropped. They couldn't guarantee us any enrollment date but just offered to let us wait another 12 months. I feel like this is an absolutely unacceptable business practice. We were essentially wait listed but led to believe we had a guaranteed spot. So we had no Plan B and were forced to look for another daycare last minute and had to accept the first one that had availability with such short notice.
