She showed him how to write his name in just a couple months, word recognition, and kept him fully engaged. I literally had to drag him out of there everyday because he didn't want to leave. Ms. Hannah was very accomadating with my work schedule and understanding when I was running late. Due to my health issues I had to pull my son out but if he could've stayed forever he would had. The rate is very reasonable and the location is in the "woods" but Brandywine is in the woods. Fundamentals is definitely worth checking out.

I wanted a place for my child to attend a positive environment with a good amount of children for the summer. I realized some of the children on the website were her actual children that she passed off as other students. It has a poor environment in a bad location near the woods with two dumpsters out front and a wire fence in the back, which looks unsafe for children. Space is limited with a clutter of old toys and not many children were present and the ones that were there did not look engaged. It seemed more like a babysitting service if you are desperate since finding childcare can be challenging and this is not a positive early learning daycare center. I normally don't write reviews but I was so disappointed I wouldn't want anyone else to be swayed or waste their time like I did.

Senora Dulce is a true professional who raises the bar compared to many in-home daycares. She has a great mix of learning and play activities for the kids, and my baby even does an art project every week! This place has different things for babies to do--like bouncy seat, swing, etc. I joke that it's like Curves for babies (rotating stations). Senora Dulce emails me pictures taken during the week. As a bonus, I am excited for the opportunity for my daughter to learn Spanish from a native speaker. Senora Dulce is very observant about how the kids are interacting, and she is patient and kind with them. I hope that my daughter can go to Play and Learn for a long time to take advantage of the awesome backyard and expansive collection of toys and learning activities.

I'd toured the Jericho location years ago when I was still pregnant and was impressed which is why I later brought my toddler to the current Largo location. Their policies and procedures were constantly changing and the turnover rate was astounding. I did have a good experience with one teacher in particular, but when she left there were no longer any redeeming qualities. The "Assistant Director" was rude and ill-informed and usually unable to answer even the most basic question. The director was never available and rarely responded to email. I'd look elsewhere for the care of your little one!

They notify me every time he falls or gets injured by another child. They will also send an incident report. He did contact hand foot and mouth like the other poster's child during that time however I was notified immediately as soon as it was discovered. They also had the school cleaned out and had parents take anything that was their childs home to be washed. Now you must bring home the bedding every week. The turnover rate has been high the past few months but I do believe this is due to the wage that the workers are paid. There was a story about this recently on the today show. All in all I would recommend this daycare to anyone. My son has thrived and continues to thrive each day he is there. His teachers are very kind to him and have nurtured him through each transition. Whether is be with a new teacher or when he moved to the next class. The administrative part with communication can be improved but that just takes some training on the directors part to her staff.

When I brought my child there who is now two at the time she was 6 months old... I had to take her here because I found out her previous at home daycare was mistreating her. My baby refused to take bottle anymore at 6 month of age and was not trusting anyone. When I brought her To Venus Childcare Learning Center they took the time with her and fed her my milk from a spoon for a week or two until she gained trust again. To hear everything they took the time to help my child really made me feel so rested and comfortable to know my child is now in good hands. The care there is outstanding. I also need to mention that this facility is affordable. Not only are you receiving great care for your children but at a rate that will work with your budget. I am very thankful I found this place!
