    Dance floor with disco ball

Awesome place for kids to play! Hours of entertainment. Kind of expensive, $19.90, but we'll worth it. That price gets you in all day, even if you leave for awhile and come back. Very clean and very cool inside (if you are just watching, bring a sweater). Adults can climb and play as well. Colorful, clean, and fun!

I guess she needed a break from doing nothing

PLEASE READ!! I recently decided to throw my daughters 5th birthday party at Kids Empire Hardegan on Sunday, September 24th 2023, and I wanted to share our experience. Her party was for 10 kids and paid for in full a few days before the event. Come the day of the party we check in at 1:35 and the staff was very inattentive and the space isn't cleaned nor set. My sister set up the tables and swept the floor! Two nice sized piles of dirt and food was swept from the small area. When I asked the staff about the cleanliness she stated that the company doesn't have a overnight cleaner. So none of the equipment that the children are playing on is never sanitized and the floors were disgusting. The staff with the bad blue wig did come out and mop the floor during the time of my daughter's party and left cleaning solution at one of tables the entire party. They give you gallons of water and 2 liter bottles of drinks. They have unlimited gummy bears which they just pile up on paper plates and give to people no packaging just out of a bulk bag of gummy bears. I don't know if gloves were used or anything honestly. They do not have any pitchers nor ice at the facility. We had no party attendant and literally had to come and ask for everything while the staff laid around on counters or in the back room on their phones! The pizza that is apart of the party package was supposed to be ordered and there by 3pm. The staff never let us know anything and when I inquired about the time of the pizza being delivered ( because they do not have any food they order it from somewhere) at 3:30 I was told the pizza would take another 45 minutes to an hour to arrive! The pizza never came and the staff never said anything else about it! The kids had a nice time on the equipment but were starving and had to just eat snacks that we brought and cake. No staff knew who their manager was because they claimed he hadn't had his first day of work yet and couldn't get in contact with their supervisor to be spoken with about the upkeep of the facility and the party coordination! The staff were the absolute worst and were all lazy. We ended up leaving the Party 45 minutes early feeling completely ripped off for $400 bucks! This company needs some major help when it comes to customer service and with cleanliness of the facility!!

This is ball put in the toddler area! Super big and lots of room for play!

The cafe is large and clean with a variety of different formats for the children to play in. Having a dress up area, some segmented areas for blocks and trains, and individual "store fronts" was great. Our kids had a wonderful time. The only reason I took a star away was inconsistent application of rules as many children were not wearing grip socks while it was included as a requirement. We were asked to purchase these from the cafe when we checked in... which if it is an established rule is fine, but a little annoying that the rule isn't universally applied. The play cafe is also a bit more expensive at ~$17 per child ages 1-10 with no discount for multiple children (as of Feb 2026) compared to other play cafes we have been to. It also did start getting quite crowded around 10:00 AM and there didn't seem to be an end in sight. Still, it is a nice cafe and I'd recommend it to others looking for a place to take your kids, especially if you can avoid the peak periods.

Busy Bees Play Café in Carmel is the perfect spot to grab a coffee while the kids play. There have been plenty of changes every time we visit and I have loved the design each time. The play area is clean and thoughtfully designed. You can tell everything was created with parents and child safety in mind! The staff are friendly and do a good job of making their rounds to tidy up! There's a great variety to keep little ones entertained. I love that I can actually relax with a coffee (which was delicious, by the way!) while still keeping an eye on my kids. Another nice touch is that there are plenty of helpful things in the bathrooms (extra clothes, diapers, wipes, etc) for parents who may have forgotten something. This happened to me the first time we visited and I was so grateful! If you're looking for an easy, fun outing with your kids (especially on cold or rainy days), Busy Bees is a must-visit. The kids will need grip socks while playing, but you can bring in your own. They are also a nut-free facility which is a plus for parents like me who has a child with a nut allergy. My little kids can be here for hours while I work, so will definitely be back again and again!

I was impressed enough that I texted three friends photos, told my wife to start planning our son's birthday party here, and was actively asking managers about upgrading to full access because I had just discovered the larger "Adrenaline" area. For context: it's Indiana winter, it was cold, and I had a hooded sweatshirt on with the hood up because I was freezing. During my 2 1/2-hour stay, I spoke with two managers about memberships--neither said a word about my hood. While walking around trying to keep up my child, I heard someone off to the side say, "Take your hood off." I approached the man, who asked me politely. I politely asked why it was a rule. His response was shocking: "So I can see your entire face on my 50 cameras." This was 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, not a packed weekend night. I turned away to continue looking for my child, removed the hood, and muttered "whatever dude" under my breath. That's when the situation escalated wildly. He charged toward me, yelling: "I'm the owner--if you don't like it, leave!" I had already complied. That wasn't enough. He then shouted: "I'll give you your money back!" And finally said something that truly crossed a line: "If there are off-colored people with hoods up and we ask them to take it down, what would that look like?" I'm still trying to understand why race was brought into this at all. Let me be clear: * The facility is great for kids * The staff and managers were wonderful * We were not leaving anytime soon until this happened But the owner's behavior was aggressive, unnecessary, and completely inappropriate. A simple rule explanation would've sufficed. Instead, it turned into a power trip with racial commentary that had no place in the conversation. Rules are rules--but how you enforce them matters. I'll take the refund. And I'll take my business elsewhere.

When I stopped on Friday morning to walk the dog, I was shocked to see the parking lot (which holds 60+ cars) almost full. They have 8 pickle-ball courts and they were full with a line of people waiting for a court The pangs of the balls were pretty loud and disrupted any peacefulness that the park has to offer. There is even a set of bleachers to watch the pickle-ball games. Anyway, the park does have an amazing playscape, perhaps the best in the Indy area. There are multiple climbing structures, swings for all abilities, a merry go round type structure and more. There is soft matting under the structures to keep the kids safe. Kids were having a blast. In addition, there is a colorful and awesome splash pad. There are nice benches, some covered, to sit and watch the kids. The park also has a walking trail into a wooded area, which is not paved, just gravel. There is some natural prairie vegetation. Trees have been recently planted. There are a nice set of restrooms including a family restroom. I also saw a small pavilion with picnic tables. Bottom line, while it's a bit crowded and loud, this is a great park with lots of fun things to do.

There is a decent amount of parking available but this park does get packed. The park features 8 very nice, fenced in, pickleball courts, a large playground, an active splash pad. The park also have two shelters with picnic tables under them and some benches under small shelter-like structures that provides some relief from the blazing sun. The splash pad has a lot going on. There are sprinklers, pouring buckets, sprayers, waterfalls and lots more. It is very nice and open from 9am to 8pm. The playground is modern and is Divided into zones for children aged 2 to 5 and 5 to 12. It is laid on a combination of artificial turf and rubberized, mud-free, surfacing. The playground features a swing bank with traditional and ADA swings, a net cone merry go round, a slide on artificial turf covered hills and a small jungle gym structure with a couple of slides and bridges. The highlight of the playground though is the towering jungle gym with a bunch of tall slides, ropes, and bridges. It is one of the first things that you will see when you arrive at the park. Additional amenities at the park include a water fountain that is capable of filling bottles, a restroom facility and a patch of green space to play catch or just throw a blanket down and relax, hiking trails that lead to and from downtown Bargersville. It is a small, but very well designed park. I will admit, that it does get packed during nice weather, no school days, especially on weekends. I really like this park. Bargersville has began to invest in parks, which is nice. This is definitely a must visit while in the Center Grove/Bargersville area.

If I have one knock, it's that there isn't even a single sign to suggest people stay masked right now. It was only when I left that I noticed not a single person was wearing a mask.
