The girl at the front checked the kids in and was very friendly. I found the prices to be higher than expected and paid a little over $37 for two kids to play... This venue is a nice option to take kids to play during bad/cold weather. They have a decent parking lot, but it can get packed and you may have to create a spot or park far away from the front door. They have free wifi and a very friendly staff, but I did not see them very much. Save yourself some time and complete your waiver at home, before you get to the venue. They have a sized moderate arcade and a play area. They are priced separately. I took my little there only for play area. You can purchase time on a card to play the arcade games. You win virtual tickets, that are stored on your card, that can be redeemed for prizes....Chuck E Cheese style. In order to play in the play area, you must purchase their non-slip socks. You only have to purchase them once as long as you bring them with you. You pay for 2-hour blocks of time, but they do not really harass people about their times. 2 hours was more than enough for me. The play area has seating along the wall and bar style seating along the play area rail. They had hand sanitizer positioned in a few spots on the bar. The play area has an area for smaller children that has a small ball pit, rocking horses and other equipment. Then to the left of that area is the area for the bigger kids. That area is a HUGE 4-level Jungle gym with some awesome slides, a trampoline, a pit filled with foam blocks, a ball pit with ball cannons. As I parent, I recommend bringing some headphone to listen to music, or a laptop/iPad to play games or do some work while your little(s) are playing. You may also want to bring a phone charger and/or make sure you have a full charge. Upstairs you will find a small snack bar with tables to eat at and a couple of areas sectioned off for birthday parties. It was not a very impressive party area, but would do if you really wanted to hold your party there. The snack bar has cookies, pretzels, candy, chips, water, soft drinks and pizza to name a few of the items. There is no outside food allowed here. The two hours flew by for my little. She had a great time and cannot wait to come back. I do like that accompanying parents do not have to pay to get in. Parents are not allowed to go past the first level of the jungle gym and are required to purchase socks if they do go in the play area. The venue may not be as flashy as other similar places like Smiley's or Skyzone but it is much more economical. read more

This was my first time coming here and I had a 3 year old w me. We got there right when it opened so parking for us was not a problem. The staff is mostly teenagers but they were all attentive the entire time. You do have to purchase their socks but you can bring them back. It is about $20 for 2 hours of play. I am not sure how they enforce the time. However my 3 year old was ready to leave bc she was tired. I am not sure how clean the place is bc there is a ball pit and foam pit but it seemed clean. Adults can go in the first floor and the toddler area was great. The big slides were a hit but she was not into climbing any higher than to the slides. As it got closer to noon it was as busy and there were some kids that had no manners and did not listen to the staff. Can't blame that in the place but it did seem like a lot of people just let their kids loose in there and don't checkup in them. We will be back for sure. read more

My toddler granddaughters require daily romps at the park, and this Mamaw aims to please. After 2 days of rain, I knew I'd better find an alternative lest I lose my title as World's Best Mamaw. I chose this location because they advertised a toddler area in their playscape. With my daughter and infant granddaughter joining us, it sounded like the perfect place for all 3 of our little ones to have a great time. Yet again, Yelp helped this Mamaw pick the perfect playdate location, because we had a fantastic time! We arrived at 7p.m. on a Saturday night, and were pleasantly surprised to discover only a handful of other families there. We hoped that with the 9 p.m. closing, our most stubborn toddler would easily leave when our 2 hour play time came to an end. We were wrong. She made her way up to the 4th floor of the playscape, where adults aren't allowed, and looked down upon the pleading adults and laughed and laughed. A teenaged guy working overheard our coaxing and pleading, and set off to retrieve Miss Stubborn. He gently and politely got her to come right down so that everyone could go home. While our 2 and 3 year old granddaughters enjoyed the entire playscape, the toddler area is really amazing. Our 5 month old granddaughter had so much fun and we all really enjoyed helping her enjoy the equipment available. The toddler area offers quite an impressive buffet of sensory heaven for little ones! I was really impressed with how clean the entire place was. The entire 2 hours we were there, you saw people sweeping, wiping and tidying up. Mega bonus points from my family of germ phobics. After gathering all of our little ones, we made our way upstairs for snacks and drinks for the road. We noticed some really nicely decorated party spaces while we waited, and made mental notes for future birthday parties. After getting some snacks and drinks, we were really thrilled to realize we had managed for 3 adults and 3 little ones to have a fun evening out for right under $40. What a deal! read more

The play equipment is great, very large play area and multiple spots designed for different ages. Very frustrated though as we brought our own play approved socks from a different establishment as we live out of state. The only difference is the name stitched into the socks. There is no safety concern. We go to several similar companies and have never had this issue. The front desk saw the socks initially and didn't have a problem until staff in the play area brought it up. Then it became an insurance liability. It very much seemed like an easy way for them to get another transaction through their system and more money in their pocket. It's a small detail but unfortunately will likely cause us to choose a competitor for future visits to the Indianapolis area. The fact that many items are out of order, staff is inconsistent with enforcing policies (multiple other people were wearing socks from a competitor or just standard socks without a no-slip feature, some rules are ignored, etc) and adults not being permitted to assist their own children if they aren't on the ground floor solidifies that choice not to return. read more

Kids planet is a great place to take kids to play. It's a giant warehouse space with plenty of room for the kids to play inside. There is a parents area to sit while your kids play or you can sit right by the play area to supervise younger kids. My kids both like coming here and they are 6 and 10. The do have a separate area for younger kids to play. They have some basic food items on the second floor. No outside food is allowed. I think they have pretty good pizza as I saw it being served for birthday parties. I got some cookies to eat. Also they do have free WiFi. In the play area I noticed lots of climbing areas ball pits, a shooting ball area, a jumping foam block pit too. Kids had a good time. read more

Kids Planet is a great indoor playground, complete with slides, ball pits, trampolines, and arcade games. I've come here twice. My first visit was 3 stars and my second was 5 stars. I'll start with the bad and end with the great. When I came in with my 1.5 year old on a Thursday night, the place was pretty busy: full of kids and adults alike. There's an under 3 only section that was perfect for my son, but there were often older kids in there without parents or staff members around to direct them back to the appropriate area. There were adults in the play areas with their shoes on (instead of the required socks) and adults in the higher up levels that are only for kids. Finally, virtually none of the adults were wearing masks. So, my kid had fun but he was also afraid of all the older kids in the toddler area and exposed to far more germs because of all the adults disregarding the rules. The staff seemed to be mostly teenagers on their phones or hanging out with each other - too busy to enforce anything. A week later, I came in around 10:30 in the morning - again on a Thursday. The place was still very busy but this time everyone was observing the rules. A staff member regularly checked the toddler area and escorted out big kids when necessary. Other parents were all wearing masks. It was great. I really appreciate having this nearby for when my son and I need to get out of the house but can't swing an outdoor park. I hope the staff is able to get on board with what's expected of visitors for a more consistent experience in the future. read more

While visiting Kids Planet with my grandson I was enjoying watching him play on the multiple levels of the play area. He always has a great time here and he can roam freely without much concern for anything other than fun. UNTIL.... this visit! I noticed an older gentleman with a mask enter the facility with what appeared to be his son ( without a mask)and grandsons. The thing that stood out upon entering the building as in most buildings, is the sign upon the door that states clearly "a mask is required at all times or you will be asked to leave" I observed the man who appeared to be the father of the two boys without a mask and entering the play area repeatedly where my grandson was playing. I advised the employee that the guy was not in a mask as required. Now I'm not all that fond of mask or wearing them. But.... when it comes to my grandson and complying to do my part, I'm not going to be ignorant about what's going on around us. The employee asked the man to mask up and he refused. After repeatedly observing the guy entering the play area with my grandson I once again notified management. I was told by the owner "there's nothing I can do he has a medical exemption" I informed her that they can refuse business to anyone and especially if they are not complying with the mandate. I get it, the mask thing sucks! But when you are just being inconsiderate and reckless without regard for anyone else's kids or grandchildren it's too much. What I was shocked with the most is the owners complete lack of concern for the multiple families in the facility and the complete disregard for their own sign. The sign should read" Mask required unless you have a medical exemption". Probably 20 kids all masked up. Around 15 adults all masked up except one dude! I never thought in a million years I would be complaining about not wearing a mask. It appears when it comes to my grandchild I am very protective. This review is not my normal review and I actually love this place and the concept. What I don't love is the hypocrisy of management and the total lack of concern for everyone as a collective. I took my daughter and nephew to this establishment today and let's just say we won't be returning. For starters the parking situation is TERRIBLE! It took us a good 20mins to get a parking spot. That should have been our queue to leave, but we didn't. ‍ The price wasn't bad however forcing parents to purchase Kids Planet socks in order to supervise kids only to find out you can't go beyond the first floor was a big turn off and yet another sign to leave, but once again we didn't. ‍‍ The customer service was beyond TERRIBLE! None of the staff I encountered seemed to be equipped w/minimal customer service skills such as speaking when spoken to, smiling at patrons, doing their job, and etc. None of the promotions they were running were offered to us. ‍‍‍ Lastly, I felt discriminated against while inside of the playground area. I purchased the children Gatorade from the concession stand (terrible concession might I add) and was approached by a staff member who felt the need to inform me about the no food or drinks in the playground area policy. My issue was that this lady walked by AT LEAST 3 people w/drinks inside and didn't say anything to them. When I brought that to her attention she made the excuse that water is allowed. So I once again showed her multiple non-black people who were drinking juice and tea in the area only for her to argue with me about my Gatorade. I want to share something that is very concerning that happened while I was at Kids Planet located in Brownsburg, IN. I took my son there today and we met another mom and her son. My son was playing in the ball pit not even five minute, and immediately alerted me that he had found this opened pocket knife. My friends son had been playing in the same area just 10 minute prior. We were absolutely shocked at what we were seeing and she took it to the front desk. The ladies were talking and blew her off like it was no big deal. We chatted and decided to go both up and still did not show urgency. They had two employees in the play area who stood around and was caught up in their own world. Management kept telling us they have a check list and what not, but still was showing no concern on something so serious. They told us stuff falls out of people's pockets all the time, that employees have a check list and they said the knife was broke and flipped open easily. (When we went to take a photo of it for proof the staff member had a hard time opening it, clearly it didn't open easily nor was broke. )Then she even asked what we wanted them to do. I told her how shocked we were that they weren't closing down the play area and emptying it to make sure there is nothing else like this in there. As we were gathering our kids up the staff did not look pleased, nor did they make us feel like they took this serious what so ever. I remind you again THIS WAS AN OPEN KNIFE IN A CHILDS BALL PIT. I'm not one to freak out I know my kid is going to get hurt and trip and pick up germs but this is absolutely not acceptable. I'm in contact with the owner waiting to talk to them. But I wanted to share with you all about this. A child could have gotten severely hurt in environment That should be safe. Please talk to your kiddos about safety of this stuff, god forbid one of your kids encounters this. If they do talk to them of what they should do. UPDATE: I have just spoken with the owner, she called me on fb app and not directly. She claimed that they had work done on the nets a few weeks ago and one of the works probably had it fall in there and not notice. She did say she was sorry multiple times, but I continued to stress that that is still no excuse for this to happen. I get things fall and get lost but if a worker had that around why wasn't the area cleaned out while the work was happening and why wasn't it throughly checked again after they left. If this happened a few weeks ago then that knife was in there the whole time which means they clearly haven't checked those areas as well as they should. Again I understand things happen but a knife should never have been left or found in a place where children play. She said she was going to talk to staff and do better with checking the environment and hopes I return, but I don't plan to and I think at the end talking to her seemed to be blown off to. My kids love this place. We don't come often because it can be pricey for a large family. I wish they had sibling discounts. Or memberships that cover everyone in a single household. They've made some changes to the play area which I like. You have to appreciate a business that is always trying to improve. The balls in the toddler area were a big hit with my 1.5 year old the last time we went. They also got rid of the sand area and added large life size legos. My 3 year old loves this area. I wish adults were allowed in the play structure during low volume times. There are things my younger kids sometimes need assistance with and my 7 year old always has to take that responsibility because adults aren't allowed pass the first level. I feel bad asking her to pause what she's doing to help. My other complaint is the tight seating area. It feels really closed in and there are only tall stools and hard benches. Not the most comfortable place to sit for 2 hours while your kids play. There is a lounge area upstairs that is more comfortable but you can't really monitor your children from up there. Food is over priced and gross, like most places similar to this, so I wouldn't plan to have lunch there or anything. Over all it is a place that we will continue to visit. My kids love going here, always have a good time, and never have a complaint. Their faces always light up anytime I say we're going to kids planet. It's just not enjoyable for the adult while you wait lol. read more

Booked a bday party for my 3 year old site unseen.the bday packages were reasonably priced. The party area was decorated so nice! I got many compliments! They have many themes you can choose from and we chose Moana. They did a great iob decorating. Our party was 4-7p although I didn't know prior that we were expected to be out of the party area at 6p. That detail was important and should have been communicated as we had to rush when asked at 5:30 when we were planning to do cake/ice cream/gifts. All the kids LOVED the indoor playground. As for parents, it was hard to keep track of the kids being that its a vertical like 3/4 floors. But all in all my daughter enjoyed her bday party and i enjoyed it being mostly stress free. read more

A pretty great play spot with some decent-sized caveats for us. Biggest gotcha is that parents can't go higher than the ground floor in the "big kid area" ... which means that you can't join them on that first run-thru if they're unsure at new play places. This meant that our older kid was fine at the big area but our younger wasn't, and they effectively had to play separately or else the oldest had to play in the toddler area. Wish we could have joined the youngest occasionally (like at Traders Point) to build their confidence. Parents should also know that there's a ball area with foam balls, which is fun. Buuuut there's also air guns on the 2nd floor that point into this ball area ...meaning that you can and will get shot at with these balls. Older kids will find this a blast for sure, but your 2 year old who just wants to play with balls won't understand why he's getting blasted by kids aiming at him. YMMV based on how many other kids are there when you visit, and how they might have been raised to aim guns at tiny toddler heads. Last caveat ...they have a sand area on the 1st floor with red Kinetic-like sand. The red sand WILL stain your clothes red and I was not able to get the stains out. You should either wear red clothes or wear clothes that you don't care about getting stained. Why wouldn't they use a non-dyed version here?! Ugh. So, despite these downsides for us, I'd strongly recommend if your kids are all at least 4+ and confident in the big area (tons of things for them to do, similar to Traders Point) ... OR if they're all under 4 and want to stay in the toddler area (which is awesome in its own right with a slide, spinning wheel, giant building blocks, etc). If you have kids in both age groups and they will be super sad that they can't play together, I'd avoid here until they're older. read more

My kids love it here. Which is why it gets 4 stars (they would give it 5 stars). But as the mom I've got two downsides. One less major one is that I think it's a little pricey (at $12.99 a kid). However, the bigger issue for me is that there are multiple entrances/exits into/out of the playground and it's impossible to station yourself somewhere you can watch all the doors. So for me as a parent I can't relax since my kids could easily leave the play area without my seeing them. The main reason this is a problem for me is that there are no staff checking/preventing kids from leaving the building. Typically at kid places I've gone like this (e.g., Chuck E. Cheese or mount playmore) kids and parents get matching tags and staff watches the door and checks upon leaving. If they added this it would be five stars from me, because it is a great facility, snack and game areas are great. read more

Kids Planet is a little less exciting than a sky zone but still a decent option to get the kids out of the house on a cold day. It's been busy every time I've gone which is kind of a good thing as interaction with other children is one of the points of going. My only complaint is the adult waiting area leaves a little to be desired and feels more like a punishment. Just sad adults looking at their phones. I took my 19 month granddaughter to Kids Planet on a Sunday afternoon, and she absolutely had a blast! I told her parents that she ran, crawled, climbed, and slid for a solid 2 hours. The employees I came into contact with were fantastic, super nice. Adults are not allowed to go above the first floor, which is understandable. Only problem with that is I could not take my granddaughter up the big slide, no worries, there were employees there willing and able to help her past that first hump of nerves. What a great idea! Kids planet is a large, clean indoor play structure. I'm going to say that it was clean again. Most of these kind of places get a little grimy. But friendly staff and a clean atmosphere made this a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We had lunch at their Bistro. Everything was well organized and run according to plan. We won't be returning ever again. The parking is terrible. There is NO space inside for parents!!!! We had a 1.5 year old toddler & baby so the baby didn't really play but there was no space for us to even stand around with the baby. There were moms with babies all over the place and they too had no where to stand, sit or go! It was cramped & crowded. Not a bad place needs some more variety in the games and they are a little expensive. Where the ball really got dropped was with the front desk staff. They seemed more interested in gossip and hanging out than with helping us out. I asked a simple question and got a rude response back from one of them. The parking is not very good when crowded with multiple birthday parties on weekends. Upon arriving for the birthday party we went upstairs to the second floor which had room for two separate parties, some booths, and concession stands. There were also small play areas for smaller babies to play and sit. The party areas were decorated and set up really nice no complaints there. Party time was set up from 4-7. Kids ate pizza, cut the cake said happy birthday and then went down to play about 530. At 6 while the kids and their parents were downstairs on floor one playing we were notified we needed to move from party area to the booths so they could clean up in the area which we thought was odd as the party did not end until 7 so clean up should have been at 7. We moved all the party items, coats, kids shoes and things out into this open booth area no problem. Here's where things went left, the birthday girl came upstairs to notify her mother that a small boy kept hitting her. The mother went downstairs and notified the staff. The second time it happened staff was then notified again. The third time the little boy kicked the birthday girl and called her a b*tch. The mother went down and asked for the mother of the child who then proceeded to act crazy. So the police officer and owners got involved. Had the staff stepped in the first two times the situation would have never got out of hand. The manager/owner not once apologized and said we are sorry. She instead told us how we could be put on the do not trespass list after this was the second birthday party in a row we had at her establishment paying pretty good money: I won't say this was a racial problem just a problem the owner did not handle appropriately knowing her staff was notified about this boy twice the little girl size kicking her in the face. We waited in the play area for the other party to leave, and the mother of the little boy came in and decided to yell mean things which started another problem and the owner then calls the police on us instead of escorting the lady off the premises.
