This place is located in Oshawa, first time here, would have never known this place existed. They celebrated their 100 years last year. This place is huge, there are rides, bowling, jungle gym and arcades. To be honest there are hardly any staff but I did see one of the workers at the tower ride sanitizing the seats in between people. Huge plus! They also have a bar and food as well, no wings. It's a FUN world at Neb's, and we're all just living in it. Arcades, rides, bowling and playground, there is plenty to keep the young, and not so young at heart entertained all day. This was our first time trying the cosmic bowling as we usually pay for their $20 deal for regular bowling and arcade tokens. It was fun but very hectic and not well organized. The arcade was a mess, garbage and drinks left everywhere. Half the games don't work or will take your tokens and then not work. It's also 12-35 tokens for one game and you win on average 6-9 tickets per machine. The prizes are low quality and cheap dollar store quality. If you are looking for a better deal on games I'd suggest Playdium in Whitby. Games take less tokens and have a better payout for the same games. Inside as well as the parking lots of Nebs always smell of cigarettes and weed. Not a very kid friendly scent... read more

Don't let the outside buildings looks deter you. This place is fully renovated inside and such a fun time for adults and kids. There's tons of games and bowling. The food is decent, but better than a regular bowling alley. The drinks and food are both reasonably priced. Good for groups. read more

I practically lived here as a teenager. Sadly no longer a teen, I was there on a Sunday for my friend's child's 5th birthday. What a perfect place for a kid's birthday: noise level doesn't matter and they can throw things. WIN! There's a lot to do there besides bowling; there's an arcade, laser tag, bumper cars and a room of inflatable things to jump on. It's a great way to tire out children. The bowling scoreboard is touchscreen to set up and on TVs above your lane. When you get a strike or spare or something funky, they will display a funny meme. The cafeteria area has a snack bar and a bar that serves alcohol. You can reserve tables in there for birthday parties. The pizza was ok, but I don't expect gourmet from a bowling alley. Me and my wife and daughter came into for a single game. It was around 8:00 pm. With my daughter being 2 years old we wanted to bow the kids lanes. We could clearly see that there was empty lanes available was rudely denied buy the older women at the front desk. And this wasn't the first time. I am not sure if it was being because my daughter was crying during our purchase or if it was because we were of a different race. I'm just pointing out that it is the second time in a 3 week span. Came with our two kids (6yr, 4yr) and cousins (11yr, 7yr). NEB has go karts, kiddie coaster, mini jet ride, Himalaya ride, skylight screamer and a 7D ride. The go karts were great and the 11yo was able to go solo (single driver cars and family cars for an adult +child). Kids coaster track is small but has a couple of turns in the track and the kids go around a few times which was good for the 6 and 7yo. Last ride we tried was the Himalaya. It's a long ride as you go around the track forwards and then backwards over peaks and valleys. The staff were on rotation (info posted at each ride site) so we had to look for an attendant at times. There's also a rock climbing wall and indoor playground. The arcade had some great games like giant Space Invaders game, 4 way air hockey and Plants vs Zombies. Some cool prizes too like Funko Pop figures and Minecraft bouncy balls. Lastly, the bowling alley had couch seating and if you ordered food, a message would flash on your screen notifying you it was ready for pick up. Got the popcorn chicken and nachos which were alright. We used a coupon for the kids to bowl for free and paid $3 each for their shoe rental. I have been here countless times for children's birthday parties, family outings, promotions, etc. The staff is and has always been so friendly. The bowling is fun for the kids, but not so much the adults (unless you are fine with using the small bowling balls they provide). I find I am very clumsy with them, they were made for little hands after all. I do find that the extras like food, games and rides are somewhat overpriced, but it doesn't bother me much as this should be used as a fun treat for the kids and they will thank you for it! Great place for the whole family to go out and have fun. They have something for everyone. read more

Remember old school bowling alleys, and rollerskating disco's? Well enter back into circa 1985 and you have Neb's. A group of us (plus way too many kids) arrived only to find out that we had to wait about an hour to get two (5 pin) lanes. 5 Pin? I can barely get the ball to hit 10 pins! In the meantime we decided to get some attraction tickets for the kiddies. Each ride is 1 ticket. There were 6 kids. So we bought the "fun" pack. It's not very fun on the wallet. $130!! Crazy, but who were we to tell the poor kiddies they were going to have to stand around and wait. The lineup for the Go Cart was 90 minutes. The lineup for the mini rock climbing wall was 45 minutes. That leaves us with bumper cars, bouncy house and Skeetball. So we let the kids run free, they used half of the tickets (please note they are NON-REFUNDABLE) and off we went to our 5 pin game. So now we spend $10/person to bowl (includes bowling shoes - which I still am disinfecting my feet over) and we have a good time. Here is my recommendation - buy single tickets, and if you need more pay as you go! Eat before you go, as the Pizza / Fries / Burgers are expensive! Be prepared to spend at least $100 / family. The staff are all very efficient, pleasant and awesome with children. The birthday party that we had there was awesome and all of the kids had a blast bowling, going to the arcade and riding on the rides (too young for go karts).
