They are great with kids, but would it kill them to clean the place. At least don't make me or my kids tramp through all the kids hair you cut that day. Never been to a place where they don't clean up the clients hair before. read more

This review is not about the cleanliness of the shop or the ability to get an appointment, rather the quality of the haircuts. I took my 4 year old in a few months ago, we were a walk-in and the shop was busy. Tammy was kind, put on her favorite show cut her hair really, really quickly. I thought this was a little suspect and was confirmed when we gave her a bath later and one side of her hair was nearly an inch longer than the other with lots of long, missed strands. I chalked this up to the fact my daughter has thick hair and we were a walk-in, so I decided she was ready to start going to my stylist. I took my younger daughter in earlier this week, she still has a head of baby fine hair, I made us an appointment so Tammy wouldn't be rushed and we washed it the next day to discover it was still uneven, choppy and had many long areas. Not missed entirely but totally jagged. I once again had to clean it up myself which I am not comfortable doing. Tammy and Amy are sweet and the make it a positive experience for the kids, but we are done spending our money here. read more

Ran in to check if they'd take a walk-in while my 2 year old and husband waited in the car. There was one person working and she was cutting someone's hair. She did acknowledge that I walked in, but that was it. While I stood there waiting for her to ask if she could help me, she continued to tell her customer a story. I wasn't sure what to do. I waited a few minutes, stood there looking at her, while she continued to ignore me. All I expected was to be asked if I needed an appointment or was a walk-in...you know, customer service. This is the only place I can take my crazy 2 year old. They are FAST. It's amazing how they can still do a great job on a moving target. We've been going here for 9 years, since my 11 and 9 year old were little. I've had a few times when they've been super busy and I couldn't get in or had to leave because the wait was too long, but most of the time I get in and out in 10 minutes. They are amazing with kids and I'm so grateful to them for putting up with us over the years! I never write reviews but some of the negative reviews on here made me want to write my positive experience with kids kutters. read more

This place must be overflowing with business because they certainly do not want new clients. We tried for 3 days to get someone to call us back to make an appointment. We have decided to go elsewhere, because if these individuals are not smart enough to operate a phone system, I certainly do not want them touching my children's hair. read more

We love Kids Kutters. Both of the stylists who work there are great with kids and put them at ease. We have been going there since my 10-year-old was a baby, and they have always made it a good experience. The floor was always been clean and swept when we were there. read more

I went to this shop as a walk in, understanding that appointments come first. (I tried to call to make an appointment before going, but there was no answer at the shop) My 11 month old and I were not greeted with a hello, or even a glance. I signed in, and proceeded to wait. Several appointments went, and after twenty minutes I believed my name would be next. Then 2 people walked in with appointments, one person who was 25 minutes late with 4 children and I knew we wouldn't be served anytime soon. I have no problem waiting my turn, but please acknowledge your customers and at least give them an idea of how long they will be waiting, especially with little ones. After 25 minutes I crossed my name off the list and walked out. It is probably for the best, the shop was very dirty and I was not impressed with the work I saw. The reason I give 3 stars is for the general cleanliness of the place. It is rather dusty and I'm not sure why. You would think in between cuts they could dust or deep clean something. I do like when my son goes to Amy though. He has autism and isn't the easiest to deal with sometimes but over the years, he has become more comfortable and he refuses to go anywhere else! Tammy is great but her cuts usually seem uneven. It gets the job done but I feel like Amy gives a much cleaner cut. I would love to try a different place but my son is very comfortable in there! First of all response to womens comment about cleaning up the place. First of all they continually take kids walk in appointments etc and try to not make you wait. My son has been going since 2, my son has special needs. Tammy goes up beyond and further to make the visit just terrific. The friendship between my son and tammy has been priceless. She does no matter what it takes to make the visit a perfect one. There is noone like her. So ive been there when they are so busy kids are crying they care sweeping up some hair is nothing to making a childs appointment fast and easy. Thats what its all about. Its nice to go somewhere no stress, no anxiety, just happiness and by the way tammy can get hair like noones business. My son is so handsome the cut is perfect.. read more

I find it so hard to believe that people didn't receive return phone calls, because Tammy and Amy are super responsive (you need to leave a message with your phone number but they always call back). Both women are so incredibly patient with my kids who used to be really anxious having their hair cut. They listen carefully, they are both amazing with kids, and they are fast without sacrificing quality. read more
