Employees work quickly and seamlessly to control the flow of the party (and always asked us first before doing the next event). Place is clean and SO spacious. There's fun for kids and adults to hang (and bring light adult bevs, if that's your vibe). I feel like the price is fair and reasonable for the service, cake, pizza, plates, etc. My only con is there should be a bigger turn over window in between parties. We rented the space until 3:30 but the next party was already setting up at 3:15- not a huge deal, just kinda awkward. read more

First off I want to complement the staff on their phenomenal service for our guests & especially my son. We celebrated his 8th birthday earlier today & we are so glad we did. My son & all of his friends had a BLAST. There's a zip line, two basketball hoops, a basketball arcade, air hockey, two big bounce houses one with a slide to name a few of the activities. Nice place for a kiddie party. Of the kiddie party venues I've visited this might be a little light on polish or experience, but there is good effort on the part of the staff. For starters, there is just one large play area whereas another popular kiddie party venue has several rooms. There were a couple of play items that I haven't seen at other venues like, two basketball hoops of varying heights and two soccer goal posts in the general play area. There were plenty of basketballs and soccer balls for all the kids so there was no fighting or sharing necessary. There were also two oversized bouncy soccer balls as well. There was one bouncy castle and another obstacle bouncy castle for those that wanted to race. They also had a zip line setup which was kind cool for the kids to try but it got old really fast as it really went no where. Finally they various no-pedal bikes which were kinda cool. The pizza for the kids and adults were actually good for a change and I happily ate two. A few words of caution regarding the video game section, the coin change machine ate my dollar and the basketball machine also did the same. The hockey table was missing a second mallet which basically meant that the kids were playing with their hands to defend the goal and of course that isn't a recipe for disaster. Planning a birthday party in the winter time during Covid is an arduous task. In addition to making sure the kids and parents have a good time, we now need to ensure a safe, clean, and private event. The place was very clean, organized, and we felt safe and taken care of the entire time. It's a private event, which is very different from other places that have multiple parties going on at the same time. From zip lining, to rock climbing, the bouncy castles, manual cars, and many other things available for the kids, the place was large enough for our party but small enough that it felt very comfortable. Christine, the manager, was amazing to work with the entire time from two months ago. She is so accessible via phone, and her attention to detail is just refreshing and wonderful. The staff working our party was so attentive to the kids, making sure that they were safe and were having a great time enabling the parents to take a little break to eat and enjoy themselves as well. From the food ordering, helping us set up the party favors as soon as we walked in the door, helping us to transport everything to the car after the party, and asking us if they could do anything else and making sure everyone was having a good time, they did an wonderful job. They cleaned before, during, and immediately after in preparation for the next party. We never felt rushed and Christine and the team were always on top of everything making sure there was very little for us to worry about. I would recommend having your kiddo's birthday party here without a doubt. It was because of Christine and her team that made this event that much better. read more

I recently attended a child's birthday party at this venue and I have to say I was really impressed and happy with the overall event. The staff were very attentive and proactive. They kept the table stocked with juices, sodas, coffee and the like. They made sure everyone was signed in and waivered and they were very attentive to the children's needs. The party included ziplining, a large bounce house and a smaller bounce house, a lovely ball pit and the foam pit to the left. There were two restrooms available for use. The larger restroom being the best one and that's located across from the office and near the pantry area. Also the restrooms were super clean and I greatly appreciated that and was impressed as a different birthday party was ending just as we were coming in to start ours. The staff were happy and upbeat and having fun. No one rushed us to while we were all preparing to vacate the premises. Pizza and two different types of cakes were served along with popcorn and cotton candy. I even think perhaps they prepared the party bags. I read on their flyer party packages start at $695. I have to say, having now attended a party here and knowing that we were able to hang around for 2.5 hours as opposed to the stated 2 hours, they're probably worth the money. In any event when my son turns 5, I will definitely consider them for his birthday party. They took care of everything and kept the children and adults entertained and that's worth every penny in my book. read more

I had my son's 5th birthday at Kids N' Shape Queens! It was wonderful!! The staff was very nice, top-notch customer service. I love that it is 100% private. They take care of everything. They set up the decor, cake table, food and drinks area. They also laid out the party favors nicely.  The party was a BLAST!! Everyone had a great time, kids as well as adults. The games were fun and there was a large variety of play areas. Bouncy house, zipline, air hockey, basketball, soccer, obstacle course, scoot bikes to name a few. I saw them disinfect everything after the party, so be at ease that they take health/safety precautions between parties. A lot is offered for the price paid. It's very much worth it. I came here for my friend's daughter's 3rd birthday and was amazed on how a simple concept of bounce houses and ball pits could be so much fun for a toddler. It is also very tiring since all I did was chase after my daughter in this spacious gym. Kids 'N Shape is basically a open-space of bounce houses, ball pits, and kid cars for the kids to enjoy. They even had a zip-lining area. I was most impressed with the staff who were friendly and helpful. I could tell that my friend was stress-free because of how on-point the staff was with activities and serving food and drinks. There was an eating area where the staff had set-up a table of what seemed like homemade food. And when it was pizza time, the staff made sure every kid had a slice. They even made cotton candy! By the end of the party, I was feeling like a kid myself. I definitely recommend parents to celebrate their children's birthdays here since it is an unforgettable experience for the adults and kids. read more

This was my son's first birthday party for his 3rd birthday. All his other birthdays were cancelled due to COVID spikes. I was so happy that this year he would be able to know and be excited about his birthday. Kids' N Shape made our party perfect! 10 out of 10. First the process of reserving the date was easy. Next the package add ons were great. We had food for adults, the kids has pizza, cotton candy, balloon twisting, and free play for 2 hours. He bathroom was clean - our immediate family got parking in the parking lot and most of all the kids enjoyed themselves. We had a group of 20 kids ages 3-12 and there was something for all of them to do. Everyone has ice cream cake and cupcakes and all we had to do was show up. Everyone loved the space and that we had it all to ourself for the party. I have been to the other location in Staten Island and I would say the Howard beach location is bigger but it doesn't appear so from the front. I would recommend this location for any kids birthday party. The staff was so helpful and attentive. Worth every penny - especially considering it was New Years Eve. read more

Came here for a kids' party. Very spacious, looks clean. Lots of things to do for kids up to 8-9 years old: slide, carts, zip line, basketball, ball pool, gym obstacles, foam pit... The kids were playing by themselves - there was no organized play. A boy that was supposed to be watching the kids and playing with them was shooting hoops on his own. Kids were begging to go on a zip line, but the attendants kept postponing and only allowed it after the cake. Then the kids could only go 2-3 times each - a big disappointment. I think parents should be allowed to supervise the zip line and not be at a mercy of not very cooperative attendant. We were ushered out exactly at 4:30, not even an extra minute to do a once over to make sure nothing was forgotten. Overall, kids had fun and it was not bad, but many negative little things left a bad taste. read more

I was excited to take my toddler here for it being her first time at one of these. The staff was amazing but I felt bad for my baby being one of the only children of color. I visited today with my kids, ages 6 and 1 and they both had a blast. Get there early since it fills up quickly and if it wasn't for people leaving we would not have been let in due to max capacity. My toddler loved the ball pit and my 6 year old bounced in the bouncy houses and worked on his ninja warrior skills. I just had my children's joint birthday party at Kids N Shape and this was our third time using this venue but our first since COVID. Being that this was our first big event since the pandemic, it was really important to me that our kids and guests felt safe. One of the main reasons why I chose Kids N Shape again is that it's a private, large open space. I saw that they made some changes to accommodate for the pandemic including getting rid of the ballpit. While my kids were sad about it, I thought it was a smart choice and showed how the venue was taking safety into consideration. The staff there couldn't be nicer with setting up, checking in on our needs and ensuring that the kids were having a great time. Christine, in particular, was so helpful and courteous. Totally disgusted with this place after my last visit. My son and daughter-in-law literally live around the corner, and while I live in a Florida, I bring my grandson here many, many times, each time I'd visit, numerous times a year. Just for an FYI, they too bring my grandson here often. This visit, my 9 year old grandson, 4 year old grandson, 18 month old granddaughter, and my daughter came. The cost for three children for two hours, not a second longer, and a pizza was $55. This day there were only a total of 5 parents, including us, so by far it was not crowded. As my 4 year old grandson was walking around the mats, there was a little boy on a ride on toy who kept ramming into him. (What would you do?) I looked around and asked the other parents if he was their child. The last person I ask, a woman holding an infant at the end of the room finally came over. When I told her he kept ramming into my grandson with this vehicle, she responded, "he's only three!" I told her that my grandson was only 4, but they understand the words "no" and "stop." This was only the first incident. A short time later it's a repeat of the same. This time her excuse was "he's just trying to play with him," as she points to my 9 year old grandson. Third time: both my grandson's were rolling a green tire looking toy, around the floor. This little boy goes over to my 4 yo grandson and try's pulling the tire away. My grandson's yelling NO, and I'm telling the boy, "look there's another one over there." "No, I want this one. I want a green one!" Excuse number 3, "he's my nephew and he has issues." " ma'am, that's understandable but then you should be watching him." "How can I watch him when I have him," as she refers to the infant in her arms. At this point, a younger gentleman that works there came over. I truly thought he was coming over to intercede. Mind you again, there's only 5 parents, so I thought for sure he knew what was going on. He didn't come over to intercede, he came over to collect the tires and other toys to put away because there was 15 minutes left to the two hour session. This is the worse part, and the part that infuriates me. When I tried to tell him the issues I was having, he defended this woman to the end. He advised me that she frequents this place of business often, and that I should have gone to him and not the mother. (My only expectation was for her to watch "her" child, and not leave it up to other parents). Besides, 5 parents, 8 children, at any of these points did you, the guy who works here, the gentleman who's telling me I should have advised him, notice any commotion!!!!! I was videotaping my grandchildren riding these tires a good 45 seconds before this little boy played tug a war trying to get this green tire away. I stopped a second or two as he was pulling. No, my first thought wasn't to stop recording. My first thought was to mediate. The video is not taping from a distance where I'm tapThe video is moving in all directions because my focus at this point was on the incident. Anyway, the gentleman accused me of having the nerve to tape this, as I told him I could show him what happened, and accused me that I said "this woman has to leave," which was a total lie. I do not benefit one bit by leaving this comment positive or negative. My concerns are: *this place has after school programs; how well are they watching your children when they are unaware of a situation with just a hand full of people in this place. *unless you frequent this place regularly, you may not be treated fairly or with any respect. This is definitely not a business where the priority are the children. It's all about the $$$. A father who witnessed this ordeal said, there's a place called "Launch Trampoline Park," also on Crossbay Blvd., who is a little more expensive but a much nicer place. I have not been there but 94 people give it a 4.5 star review. Judge for yourself but beware! read more

We had my daughters 6th birthday during the week and it was great. The gym is very clean, large and there is tons to do. The kids loved the bouncy houses, zipline and rock climbing wall. Paul helped with the details of my party, very nice guy and there were 3 females the day of to help the party go smoothly. They were all so sweet and you literally have to do nothing. If you take any décor or snacks they will set it up. The party package comes with pizza/cake/ balloons and more so that was super helpful and a pretty good deal. During our party we ended up paying to extend it an extra 30 min. My family plans to go back for the private play date. At the end of the party as we were heading out the door, you see the staff spraying down every single item in the facility so they are definitely taking all precautions. read more
