I have been bringing my daughter to this office for over 3 years. They are always able to fit me into their schedule, and I receive multiple reminders about upcoming appointments, which is great because I tend to forget. The staff is great, always polite and great with kids. They have video games, books, and toys everything a child would want when visiting the dentist. When my daughter is called back to get her teeth cleaned, she is given a toothbrush of her choice and they give her different toothpaste options which she loves. Her favorite is the Watermelon toothpaste. During one of my last visits, the Hygienist recommended that it might be a good idea to take xrays for the first time. My daughter is 4 and a half and I was surprised that she was able to do them without any issues, she even got an extra token. Unfortunately, it turned out that she did have cavities. Dr. Poursaeid was great at explaining to me the treatment options I had for my daughter, which would be multiple appointments and ways to help her be comfortable and cooperative during her appointments. On the day of her first treatment appointment, I was very nervous because I thought my daughter wouldn't be able to sit for a filling and a crown, shes only 4. When we arrived, she had to take a medicine for sedation appointment. She was given a token so she could get a toy while we waited for the medicine to take effect. One of the assistants, Delmis, also gave her a nose for the laughing gas with strawberry flavor which she used when she was taken back for treatment. When they took her back, I was able to hear from outside the private room how the Delmis was explaining to her the tools they would use "raincoat", "mr. thirsty" "mr.bumpy"I am beyond thankful to everyone who was able to make this a great experience not only for my daughter but for myself. Since moving to Maryland when I 10 years old, I have been coming to Kids Smile Germantown because of the amazing environment here. At Kids Smile, you are treated as part of a big family and this environment has kept me coming back for almost 10 years. Children get a choice of what flavor of paste to use which to us, goes a long way. There are stuffed animals children may hold unto as they are being cared for. Tokens are provided at the end of each appointment which I never fail to purchase bouncy balls with. There's also the option of watching Popular Children's movies as you're being cared for. It saddens me how after I turn 21, I will be too old to continue here. The staff at Kids Smile is very timely and wait times have never been my experience at Kids Smile. My love for Kids Smile has motivated me to pursue a career as a dentist because of the great mentoring Dr. Poursaeid has provided for me! Dr. Poursaeid and her team are the best and her receptionists are so friendly as well. I've been taking my kids here since 2013. Her office is so kid friendly with games, movies, and toys. I found her office looking for someone who had experience with special needs children. My son is autistic and hates going to the dentist. Somehow she made it bareable for him and he does not mind coming. When he had in infection, she personally called me and provided me her personal cell phone number and checked on him all weekend before his surgery on Monday. I don't know any doctors that give this kind of care and attention to their patients. I will always remember the professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend her and her staff. read more

I have known Dr. Poursaied for more than 15 years now . she is wonderful, kind , patient , caring and an amazing pediatric dentist . She is the only one I would let work on my two sons and they both love her . My children have been coming to Kids Smile since they were toddlers and we've never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful and Dr. Poursaied is awesome. I was concerned about braces for my daughter and instead of pushing us into getting braces, she told us to wait and see if they straighten on their own when all her baby teeth are out, and they did. I've always had any questions answered, never felt that they were out to make money off of unnecessary procedures which you do find with some dentists. A long overdue review. My son has been going to Dr Poursaeid and Kids Smile Dentistry since he was 2 years old. He is now 10. We were Introduced by my friend with triplets, which her kids at 12 years old still go there. I have always been very pleased with the friendly staff. The office is very clean and kid friendly. And Dr P and her associates are always so sweet and welcoming to the kids. My son never complains about going to their office and still enjoys receiving he tokens at end of his visits. My son is terrified of anything near his eyes and mouth. It is so severe he has passed out having minor procedures. I took him to kids smile after they were suggested to me by a friend. My son had a cleaning done with little discomfort and minor emotional distress. Dr. Poursaeid and the staff at Kids Smile Dentistry are wonderful! The kid-friendly atmosphere in the office put my child at ease the moment we walked through the door. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and we had very minimal wait time, both in the waiting room as well as in the chair. My daughter has severe anxiety about going to the dentist. she has some sensory issues and any noise would bother her. we tried different dentist in the area but none could help her . I brought my daughter to this practice and all I can say is wow. From the moment we walked into the office there were games. toys, and prizes. Then we were immediately greeted by the friendly front office staff. They went into detail regarding registration paper work and how are insurance coverage works. My child has always been nervous at the dentist but she became very upset when she found out she needed treatment. Both Dr. Poursaied and Dr. San Martin we're amazing with her! Took my child to a general dentist and was referred to Kids Smile because he had cavities. He started his treatment today under sedation and Dr Poursaeid was so patient with him.
