Unfortunately, my experience with the staff member responsible for obtaining insurance authorizations has been very disappointing. An MRI was ordered, but the authorization request was not submitted for five days. As a result of this delay, the approval was not completed in time, and I was forced to cancel my MRI appointment scheduled for tomorrow. When patients are dealing with pain and waiting for diagnostic testing, delays like this can significantly impact their care and create unnecessary stress and frustration. I hope the office reviews this process so that future patients do not experience similar delays. Again, I appreciate the medical care provided by the doctor and nurse practitioner. My concern is solely with the handling of the authorization process.
