Just a warning about Garden Montessori. We had both our children at Garden Montessori last year. We…read morebrought concerns of bullying of one of our children by another child to the teacher and owner. We were called to a meeting, where the teacher started changing the story that our child was harming others. When we stated that the child in question had a history of bullying others and that we trusted our child in telling us what happened to him, the owner began screaming loudly at my husband. It was both shocking and appalling. Later that evening, we received an email that we were released from the school immediately. Two working parents concerned for the safety of their child to get yelled at and dropped with no other placement shows the character of the leadership. A year later and my son can still tell the story of the bullying events/location and no detailsils have changed, including that he went to his teachers for help and they did nothing while the little boy was chasing him and hitting him. Beware, as they care for more about their image than child safety.

The Director Christine is a very nice person and has always been supportive. The school is reasonable on rates and I have never felt unsafe having my children there, especially during these times. Everyday my daughter is not only happy to go to school, but excited to tell me about all the wonderful activities she did each day. A mom from a local Zephyrhills Community group asked for recommendations on child care locations. I recommended two places, which I have experienced. I also said my honest thoughts about Zephyrhills Angels and advised I would not bring my child there. A short while after, the owners TEXTS my husband around 9:30PM to ask why his wife was "bashing" her business. My husband texted her back that it was merely my opinion and completely unprofessional for her to TEXT him about it. Today my husband receives a call that my step daughter is no longer allowed at the day care on HIS days but she is allowed on her mother's days. All due to a personal honest review? Do you kick out all of your children for petty things? Do you contact all of the people who have submitted a less than satisfactory review? Totally unprofessional and honestly, okay by us because we were going to bring her elsewhere when we have her over the summer. You did us a favor!
