The hygienist was very helpful and sweet also! She did a quick cleaning and gave us some great tips for brushing toddler teeth (when they really aren't having it, so everyday lol). With my daughter being so young Dr Cito chose to put temporary white fillings on her front teeth and Silver Diamine Fluoride on her back molars. SDF turns the tooth black where it's applied (a little off-putting visually, but if it stops the cavity from worsening until more permanent measures can be taken, sounds good to me). The office has a comfortable atmosphere with ipads for the kids to play games while they wait. It feels like they are very conscious of young kids waiting and try to be as timely as possible. Another bonus, their text reminders make it easy to remember appointments We have been very happy with Dr Cito's office all around, and will continue to return!

We contacted Aetna insurance, ask for a list of network providers, & then did LOTS OF RESEARCH. Reviews for North Star were outstanding. They seemed to have the perfect balance ratio for staff to dentist. Now to the review. I called staff explaining my situation. I needed a cavity fixed & 2 crowns replaced. They had a cancellation that day & ask would I like to come in. GREAT! Only hour till that appointment time, so I got ready quickly. Staff processed me in, I answered all the questions, insurance cards, paperwork, then seated to see doctor. Staff were very friendly & informative. Dentist came in reviewed my x-rays, confirmed the cavity & worn crowns. He was very professional in his evaluation. He explained the steps we needed to take, would work with insurance getting pre-approval same day, & have me scheduled at the earliest available appointment.
