I discovered KidsPark while temporarily staying in the Valley, and I honestly wish there were more locations around Los Angeles because this place has been such a lifesaver. The hours are amazing. You can do drop-off from 8 AM to 8 PM and the pricing is very reasonable. It's $12 for one child and only $8 for an additional child, which is hard to beat. It's been great for when I need to run errands, appointments, or even just get things done around the area. My kids actually enjoy going there, which says a lot. They keep the kids engaged with games and activities, and the staff has always been very kind and welcoming. Another huge plus is that they offer lunch and dinner for only $5, which is exceptional and makes everything even more convenient. This place doesn't charge an arm and a leg like so many other childcare options. Affordable, flexible, and kid-approved a hidden gem. My kid has been going to KidSpark for four years now, and he enjoys coming and I feel comfortable with the teachers and the staff is always friendly. My only request is better communication when they need to shut down or close early. I love the email blasts every week, could the admin find a way to blast out a closure like today (this Saturday was advertised during the week to bring kids)? Today, when arriving, there is just some small sign saying closed for maintenance. I respect that the business can have unexpected events, however it is 2026.... Everything we do on a computer can be done on our phones and there is a bit of confusion as to why we cannot receive a closure email. Other than that, I really love the place overall. read more

I'm extremely disappointed in Kids Park North Ridge. My son is autistic and requires extra support, which was clearly disclosed in his intake paperwork. Despite being upfront about his needs, they still accepted him--but failed entirely to provide the support he requires. The front desk staff lacks professionalism and effective communication. The woman at the front desk uses poor grammar and doesn't seem to have any real understanding of how to handle sensitive situations with care. On a Saturday, while I was an hour away at work, I received a call regarding an incident with my son and was told I had to be there within 30 minutes--or I'd need to speak to the director about his future visits. That alone showed a complete lack of empathy or understanding for working parents, especially those raising children with special needs. When I arrived, it was clear that the director is not training or directing her staff appropriately. At both drop-off and pick-up, there wasn't a single staff member actively engaging or interacting with the kids. The two older staff members stood in the back with their hands behind their backs, looking visibly miserable. We moved here from Northern California, where we had much better experiences. I only brought my children here out of necessity, but it's clear this location is nothing more than a babysitting facility that makes sure your child is "alive and well"--but don't expect any developmental support, structure, or actual care. I do not appreciate how they treated my autistic son. He deserves patience, support, and care--not to be treated like a burden. This place is still our number one choice when school is not in session. My kid went here for three days during the second week of June 2024, and he absolutely loves it. The kids are friendly, and there are plenty of activities to keep them engaged. They do arts and crafts, play games, and even have video games. An added bonus is that lunch is only $5, with options like pizza, mac and cheese, or cheese quesadillas, which really takes the planning away for parents. *note they just got rid of their reservations, now only first come first serve* When Emmy wife and I both have to be in meetings we needed a place that was near home, inexpensive, and be able to watch our child on a drop of a hat; well KidsPark filled that spot. They're $10/hour and it's not like school, but here they get to socialize, play, exercise, learn and even have lunch. The staff here are polite and welcoming, we even receive our daughter back with a new French braid sometimes when we pick her up. They may fill up, so be careful if coming late; they have themed days and holiday events. There are two drop off spots out front, and a plus is 85 degrees is right next door for a post drop off cake or post pick up coffee. Overall I really enjoy kidspark,but I wish they kept the reservations so we didn't have to worry about not having since, plus they gave a discount for reserving before. I'm not going to lie. I was a bit nervous bringing my 2 year old since the only people who have ever watched over besides myself and my fiancé , and my parents. As a parent, my biggest fear was my daughter thinking I abandoned her, even though she would be away from me for 3 hours since I had a board of directors meeting for work. Needless to say, I am so thankful that a place like KidsPark exist. The environment was very clean and the staff was very professional and assured me that my child was in good hands. The best part is that the prices were reasonable considering that most day care costs can get pretty pricey. I love the fact that the hours of operation too work for parents who need a night out to them selves. When I picked up daughter, I was really happy to see that she received the attention needed and she even came back with some art work (an ice cream necklace lol) that she did with the rest of the bumblebees (this is the section she was placed in due to her age). My only suggestion for this place is to maybe open on Sundays since some folks need child care that day and a lot of daycare places are closed, but I get it, everyone needs a day off too. Kids Park is good for drop in when school is out etc. On the website they have several "special events" listed throughout the year more specifically, the LUAU that was to happening on Saturday, 8.3.24. There were no decorations, no music, nothing at all related to a LUAU. He came home with a "fidget spinner" that you get out of a gumball machine... This is not the first time that there was advertising for a special event and the is no special event, just the normal play dates. Seems like it's a lure to get people in the door. read more

Best Place Ever!!!!!! Ever since I started my nursing school, I have been stressing out on how I can study for my exams each week and I only need a couple of hours for someone to watch my little one. When I discovered this place, I had a try out for a week or two- at first my daughter was crying and she was not used it- BUT now she's the one who's always telling me to bring her to KidzPark! After the corona virus- I am extremely disappointed how much their original policy changed to accommodate themselves, OVER parents who are already struggling as it is. Their old policy of whenever you need child care in an unplanned emergency, urgent work or necessary time kids need in this time of need for kids to socialize following the new standards/- is non existent, this is a big deal!! I am so disappointed in how much the original policy changed. They no longer accommodate any parents what so ever. I understand a new need which is about virtual learning but what about those younger ones that need preschool urgently? The original drop off when needed has been completely thrown out the window! Kids park has been a life saver for my family. We live in Chatsworth, and we do not have a lot of family in the Valley. They have all moved different places ;( sadly. I am so relieved that a last minute child care business such as this is open to take my child when needed. I am so blessed to have Kids Park close to us. My little daughters school was closed T/TH last week, and of course those are the days that I work. My 5 year old son LOVES kids park and begs to go and play often. During the pandemic, a lot of their procedures have changed, but safety is what is best. They close earlier than before [8pm] and is open to public after virtual learning [3pm]. You can register for virtual learning and must register for 3 days out of the week to be accepted. They have a drop in slot of you arrive early for virtual learning. Since the pandemic, many of us as parents have had our income cut, so I wish the kids park would be ccrc compliant for virtual learning. I hope in the future they can be approved for such. Free play and socializing is crucial for our little ones and i'm so happy kids park has done it's best to remain open for families like us whom need it from time to time. Thank you! Walked in here couple months ago and got a tour of the place. It was beyond disgusting and dirty!! I didn't let me daughter touch anything! The lady there said they plan on patching the holes in the wall but needed to wait and see if they were renewing their lease first. The concept is great but that place needs a serious makeover!! Not even sure how people drop their kids off in such a filthy place. When dealing with kids I would hope being sanitary would be a priority but this place honestly should be shut down!! I agree with some of the other reviews, but I still believe my son had fun. The day I took him it was max out with kids and i think there were only 3 ladies. There were sooooo many kids there and my son was probably the youngest one too. I was a bit worried but I remembered that my son likes playing with older kids and older kids like playing with him. They do have to be potty trained though. Unfortunately, my son did have an accident and they were so kind about it. They even let him borrow some shorts without charging me. I still need to return those shorts, sorry. The day I went they had a special where I didn't have to pay for registration ($25). Price is not bad. We will be back. My son is about to be 8 years old now, we started going to Kidspark before COVID, when I found the place for the weekends... I was thrilled by making my life easier as a Working Single Mom,& the professionalism everyone offered to my son. I was able to check with him anytime whenever I wanted & my son was able to ask the Staff to call me to speak to me at work... to just Simply tell me : " I miss you Mom & I'm having fun with my friends ". During COVID, I had to keep working as a first Responder, Kidspark was our heaven. The diversity of the kids & staff in this place is extremely Inspiring & well embraced. My Son is exposed to 5-8 languages !!!!. We moved to Another county & we still check in some Saturdays, because he misses everyone. The owner Davita was always involved & she addressed concerns immediately. Miss Jaimie is highly qualified & understands what kids need, Miss Maha Is a teacher & very motherly. Mr Jeremy, Miss Tania, Yesenia, all the rest were wonderful. They never gave a time out or use any form of intimidation. I highly recommend this place. Perfect place for any day. I really enjoy bringing my son here. The price is affordable and pre school is from 9-11:30 perfect program for incase you are interested in getting him to learn and engage in the activities they do. If you don't bring lunch you can pay to get lunch for about $5 or so. They always also have coupons and stuff. My son really loves coming here the staff is super friendly, happy and comfortable. When I brought it up to the staff they were rude and said my son didn't get them from being there . I want to address a couple issues that I've had with KIDS PARK ZOO but NO MORE. 1) On several visits as I was dropping off my children. I noticed unattained and unsupervised children running around throwing stuff and no adult say anything. 2) I have two small children that almost got ran over by a bigger child that wasn't paying attention. They let the toddlers play with the big children, so If you'e over protective parent like me you'll be very concerned that you child doesn't come home with bruises because there playing with the big kids. 3) The food that they serve it's not healthy at all. It's process junk food that they say is good soy based, blah, blah, blah. The same food day in day out, nothing ever changes with their menu if they had one. 4) their daycare is less than three hours a day and your opened 12 hour days. What type of daycare is this? Organized setting, classes, etc that they claim teach knowledge base letters, numbers, colors and shapes. Which I haven't ever seen them do. And if they do it's all the way in the back where no one can see anything. I haven't seen any lessons plans that are developed towards there learning styles. Which is a lie... ask to see if any have any? better yet see if you see them when you drop your kids. 5) I was told my twin two year boys need special supervision because they can't watch themselves and they don't have enough staff. If you cant handle 2 boys that are an age where they need to touch and play with everything you should not call yourself a childcare preschool or be in business. Stop being so cheap and hire qualified personal to meet the needs of your childcare business. You have way to many children running around in the first place. 6) one of the twins boy was able to open there cheap 3 foot door and leave there facility into the parking lot which they never told me... SHAME OF ON YOU KIDZ PARK. I had to find out thru a different parent and my step daughter that was there at the time. You failed to mention that to me when I was there and down playing like it was nothing. 7) After telling them about there faulty glass door that never latches shut and needed to be fixed. They told me that I couldn't bring my children anymore because there ability to watch over them was too much. Try to limit your visits with us no more then 3 hours... yeah right.... I am glad that I don't have to bring them here any longer. You'll be hearing from licensing soon enough and you can tell them the same sorry excuse you give me about the front door... You gone messed with the wrong parent. read more

Unsafe place for small children. I don't want to give any star. I sent my 2 years old 6 months to kidspark daughter this Valentine's day. When I pick her at the center I saw her stand outside the center area. She wears her shoes already. I asking the woman at the register how my daughter go outside? She asked me back how she go out!! And she said oh! Maybe she follow some kids who their parents come to pick them. And said sorry to me that's it. It is not safe for children to stay in the place that have no enough security. I am just getting around this extensive review..... This location really needs some SANITATION and dedicated workers. I have brought my kids here a total of 3 times for my daughter - and 2 times for my son - since 2014. Sadly - the first experience for my daughter in 2014 - was no so good. Her diaper had "tire tracks" which meant - she was not changed well, and she was running to me as soon as I arrived. I gave them another chance. In 2018 - I dropped off my 2 year old son and 5 year old daughter - and my son had a fever for 8 days. Not fun. That indicated to me - that there is surely a sanitation issue. Our last resort was dropping them off about a month ago, May of 2019. I found that again, there was a lack of cleanliness that I would expect from a childcare facility. Same Rug carpet stains that were present in 2014, 2018 - were there in 2019. Kids are hunched over one nasty computer screen - Signage is ripped..... This place is running at bare bones. If the front lobby is nasty - what is going on elsewhere? I would mop it at least every other day. I sprayed my kids with 91% alcohol as they walked out...... I tossed my kids socks as soon at they got home. My kids did not seem very happy being left there.... So - my spirit and gut say - that they shall never return. If I cannot find a sitter - we just won't go. I wish other companies in the area - with much better services would take note. Stay open late - provide drop in care - and BE CLEAN. Parents of little bitty ones, take note. I may be a paranoid momma - but I think that I gave them more than a fair shake. read more

I wasn't thrilled with this place. I was in a huge bind one Saturday with my husband at work and I had to attend a luncheon. When we arrived, it was very loud and busy. The person who checked us in was also in charge of manning the kids on the floor so she was doing double duty. In between getting us checked in, she was shouting from across the room for a kid to get off a table. It felt understaffed. As well it did not smell clean. Kind of like a dirty diaper or really bad air freshener trying to cover up a dirty diaper. My daughter is really sensitive to smells and she was pinching her nose. I had a brief moment when I wasn't sure if I could leave them there. And we have been to multiple daycares and play rooms so I don't expect perfection but it wasn't up to my standard. 2 stars because the kids were safe, came back in 1 piece and said they had a good time. All & All , I'd say this is a pretty incredible place Considering what I've personally been through trying To find reliable baby sitters , they always have special theme days/ nights, & service is pretty friendly , my daughter loves it , she's 10 & has been Going there since she was around 6. Drop-in daycare is a brilliant concept, especially for our family because of crazy changing schedules. It's convenient for us to be able to drop a kid off and run a few errands or get to a yoga class on days when our childcare isn't operational. Kidspark is clean and inviting, with a separate space with an air hockey table for older kids (they watch 2-11 year olds). There is also a gross motor area which my son adores. They do crafts or have plays along with a playhouse for dramatic play. You can have them serve meals if your kidlet is there during mealtime. This was not especially helpful for us, because neither pizza nor subs was working for us (which is the one thing I would change, more food options!) There is registration fee and at $8/hour per kid, it's not necessarily cheap. But I feel very safe leaving my child there; they have good procedures for sign in and check out. I think my son had a good time and we'll definitely be going back. (They also have a drop-in preschool program from 9-11:30 on weekdays but I'm not sure how it works.
