The store at the new location seemed smaller, but I am not a good judge of square footage! Upon entering we were immediately greeted and asked if we needed any help. The staff were super friendly and eager to help. The front half of the store has new items for sale, and the consigned items are in the back half of the store. The clothing and other items continue to be beautifully arranged and it is easy to find the size that you are looking for. The consigned items are in great shape, without fading, tearing, or pilling. I found the consignment prices on this visit to be a bit higher than those at other consignment stores. Most of the infant and 0-3 month onesies and other items were priced $10-18 dollars, and some at $24. We did find a few items that we felt were reasonable and were surprised at the register to discover that they were also 20% off. Shopping local benefits the seller and buying consigned items is better for the environment than buying everything new. Check out Buttons Bows and Britches! I can't blame her because I chose to buy them and they did work well for a couple of months. I realized once the swelling went down that I needed to go buy a size smaller and decided to go to Academy on the 54 in Owensboro. I saw the exact same shoes that I purchased at shoe shop for over $20 less at academy. I had heard that they were a little pricey, but I didn't realize that they were that high priced. My recommendation is that you go to Academy first because their prices are fair.
