We visited Sunny Day Play Cafe for the first time today and left really impressed. It's located in…read morea plaza which means a shared parking lot, but parking was easy, no circling around looking for a spot. Once inside, we immediately noticed how clean everything was, and my kids couldn't wait to kick off their shoes and start playing. We ended up staying almost two hours! The space is wide open, which made it easy to keep an eye on the kids, and the STEM area was a great touch. The bathrooms were easily accessible and had changing tables and high chairs(great for when the moms have to use the bathroom). Snacks and coffee were great too, so parents are taken care of, and prices were very reasonable. The owners are nice warm and welcoming. I understand the cafe recently changed ownership, but you'd never know it, everything felt polished and well-run. We're already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend if you're looking for a clean, spacious play space for your kids!

A fun spacious kids' indoor party place!…read more A friend invited around 10 kids to Sunny Day Play Cafe in Kennett Square PA, plus parents, family, and friends, (including us :-), for a four-year-old's birthday (Apr 2026).  The Play Cafe is a bright room the width of about three stores, with lots of parking. It's right in the middle behind a Dunkin and an Arbys. The front area has tables that easily accommodated nearly 40 of us. The Play cafe provided pizza, juices, and water, and the they even have wifi! The host family provided more food and beverages, (Beer was allowed :-). We all gathered for lunch, and cake, candles, and a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday! Meanwhile, there's a low divider from the play area. The whole time, all the kids were all over the large play area. There's a wall of climbers and slides, including an enclosed spiral tube-slide, a climbing wall, a one-person curved balance-board, and a one-person spinning seat. Along the other wall, there's another climber and curly slide shaped like a firetruck, with fire-hats and gear to wear. There's a pretend grocery with play-food and little shopping carts, and a pretend veterinary center with stuffed animals that were very popular with the kids :-) There's a three-sided play area with climbing for the littlest youngest kids, and a crawl-thru caterpillar tunnel. There's a center area made up like a race-track around a cute pretend tree, with little cars and animals to race on. The front area has some seats facing the play area and there's soft-padded seating along the back wall, too, for supervision or taking a break. There's a bright clean roomy restroom for all ages in the back past the fire truck. The cheerful owners are present in a checkin area by the front. They were welcoming, attentive, and responsive. And when our reserved time was over, they were quickly and throughly tidying and cleaning the whole facility, with a deeper-cleaning at the end of each day. Our party's cost was reasonable. I see that the Play Cafe offers party enhancements, too, like character visits and princess or superhero themes, balloon-twisting, face-painting, and even a petting zoo(!). I see they had an upcoming music class with "open play" and a read-along scheduled. We all had a great time, and the kids played happily the whole time. The Sunny Day Play Cafe is a fun bright clean spacious indoor playspace with caring owners.

We were very appreciative that the staff was able to accommodate our early arrival and facilitate an immediate start to our session, which was a significant bonus. ​We participated in the "Serial Killer" themed room. As this was the first escape room experience for everyone in our party, there was a natural element of apprehension following the initial briefing and room viewing. We found the experience to be unique, highly engaging, and thoroughly enjoyable. ​The service provided by the front desk gentleman (whose name we unfortunately missed) was exceptional. He was highly informative, provided clear instructions, and offered helpful recommendations for local dining options. The in-game elements were also excellent; clues were delivered effectively, the communication system was clear and easy to understand, and the props and puzzle design were exciting and well-executed. ​The single point of constructive feedback we offer relates to the background music level. We found the volume of the ambient music to be slightly excessive, which occasionally impeded verbal communication among our party members and, at times, made it challenging to clearly receive direction from the remote staff via the communication device. ​Despite this minor operational detail, we enthusiastically recommend this business and anticipate returning soon to try another themed room or the rage room.

There is bleacher seating around the baseball fields, I'm not sure about the soccer field. You can actually rent out the fields here or the pavilion at amazingly cheap rates! I tried this place out with a friend and had a great time! The process is so easy. You walk in…read moreselect a piece of pottery, sit down and paint, and come back one the pottery is ready (about a week). The workers gave great instruction on how to make sure the pottery comes out of the kiln nicely (three coats!). The color of your pot when you paint it will not be the same colors as after firing. Be sure to reference the colors on the wall and not what you see as you paint! The environment was peaceful too and very clean too. The pick up process took less than two minutes and we received a $15 voucher for our return. I will be returning next time I need an indoor activity with a friend!
