We had to have our child removed from their care…read moremultiple times due to "loose stools" To the point where we had to get his stool examined by medical professionals. We were told his stools were normal and that he is healthy and presented a letter to the Kinder team. Which wasn't enough because we still got reported his stools were loose and had to take him home from care. The worst part about all of this is that they lied or reporting on one of his bowel movements, saying he had repeated loose watery stools. They provided pictures of the first one and reported that he had another one within the same hour and showed a picture of the same diaper. We also had this confirmed with an former employee that they reported the same diaper twice so that we would have to come get him due to diarrhea. It seems like their main goal is to come up with any excuse of you having to pick your child up from their care. My main gripe is that they clearly lied to us about a bowel moment, and if they can so easily lie about that who knows what else they could be lying about.

We enrolled with this center over 3 months ago and I was first concerned with 1 of the teachers. But over last month. There is a new set of teachers in the classroom and they're amazing. They're always sending me updates and the do a great job with communication!! I'm also happy with the management that is running the center. When I did have concerns or questions they helped me! I'm happy I found a great learning center for my infant!

They along with the director, communicate well and I've had no surprises. My son is always in a good mood when I pick him up. The facility itself is good, but no frills really. I've seen a few nicer daycare centers, but I've also seen a lot of WAY worse daycare centers. So I would say Kids N Play is above average as far as the building and classrooms go. Pricing is very reasonable, probably one of the better values in the area. I used to work for a different daycare, so I understand a little bit about normal procedures and everything at Kids N Play is very typical as far as children having to stay home for being sick, when and how you pay, etc.. I'm not on DSHS, so I cannot speak to that. (No offense to her, but the complaints from another reviewer are actually all spelled out clearly in the handbook that is given to parents, so I don't know why she was surprised by any of it...but it also looks like she exclusively gives 1 star reviews to businesses...so I guess, consider the source).

If my child had diarrhea I would have to pick him up because apparently they don't accept that but yet I still had to pay for daycare even though he wasn't there. I even went and got a doctors note and they still wouldn't accept that. Usually you have to do something to deserve to get paid, like do the work. Moreover, they reported me to DSHS for fraud which was completely untrue. At the end we had some financial issues and tried to make arrangements with them which they refused. Next thing I know they are starting legal proceedings. Apparently the people that own this daycare are not real people and have never had real life problems.
