Not recommended. Very UNETHICAL. He installed pipes, connections, elbows, Sink, Valve, soap dispenser, etc for a new Laundry sink. After the job was finished and it was finally installed we can not fully open the mono control valve of the sink therefore the amount of water is limited because the valve is touching against the wall. When we mentioned this problem to Jose he just did not take responsibility for the wrong installation but also he said "I did not manufactured the sink"and walked away. Careful if you wanted to have a right job properly done you may think it twice. read more

We had a leaking Flushmate (pressure assist) toilet, complicated because of the recall, and a Toto toilet that wouldn't stop running. JV Plumbing was able to fit us in to their busy schedule, and both were fixed quickly and meticulously. Lots of attention to detail with JV Plumbing - for example, after they fixed the second toilet, they went back and checked the first just to make sure all was good with it. At the end of the work, I felt like it was a win-win: the toilets were working perfectly and I'd compensated someone fairly for their time as opposed to having been extorted for plumbing. We needed a new sink in our basement and a new washer/dryer upstairs, for which we needed water lines. We had a lot of custom plumbing work done on our house by the previous owners, so we contacted them to get the name of the plumber who did the work. That plumber quoted us 50% higher than Jose. Updated review. I had Jose come over to replace some super badly clogged drain pipes under my kitchen sink and laundry room sink that were not really able to be snaked or hydro jetted. He and his son had to go into my small crawlspace and cut out the current pipes that were 60 years old and replace them. I was surprised that they did it so efficiently and fast. Don't go with the big company plumbers with the fancy painted trucks that probably just add to your final cost. He tells you straight up what it will cost and it's a very reasonable cost. Amazing experience with Jose (and his son in training) from JV Plumbing. After we were grossly overcharged for plumbing repairs three years ago by a well-known plumbing company, we were eager to find an honest, reasonably-priced plumber. We found JV Plumbing on Yelp with the highest number of 5-star reviews, so we submitted a request for inspection via Yelp on Christmas Eve. Despite the holiday, Jose responded the same day via text, asking for a description of the issue and photos. Due to Christmas Day and our issue not being emergent, Jose was able to come to my home between jobs the day after Christmas (only two days after the request). He immediately diagnosed the issue as a blown expansion tank, and had it repaired within 20 minutes, for ONE-THIRD the cost of the plumbing company who replaced the expansion tank three years ago. We called Jose late on a Thursday with a leaky water heater. He got right back to us, called his supplier to keep the doors open so he could get the supplies, then made it to our place by 6:30. The toilet was builder-installed and after a little investigation, Jose figured out that one of the seals had been put in upside down. He also explained everything to me, figured out the model number of the toilet in case I have more issues, and showed me how to fix it if the seals need to be replaced or the other toilets in the house have the same issue.
