This review is long over due. I bought a groupon sometime in Nov 2014 and booked a picture session for my mom and my son. My mom was visiting from Hawaii for only 2 days and Margaret did everything she could to book me a session during one of those days. I am so grateful and my mom loves the pictures that resulted. It was a park day and Margaret and Andre were absolutely phenomenal. They were patient with my son (then about 18 months old) who decide he would rather not smile or sit. Margaret is really picky about the photos (in a good way!) which is nice because then you don't feel like the picky mom trying to dictate the photo shoot. Instead she wanted to try a few more shots and was helpful with keeping my son entertained and smiling. Because Margaret and Andre were about to take a long trip for the holidays, they made every effort to do a quick turn around on the photo prints. The photo quality was top notch! I am hoping to find more time this summer to do a family shoot with Margaret. Highly recommend her and Andre. They are professional and do a wonderful job. read more

When I saw a Groupon deal for Kidzpix I couldn't pass it up! I had only been taking iPhone pics of my baby and wanted quality photos. From the start, I noticed the exemplary customer service just from our phone conversation. Margaret patiently explained the themes they had and asked for details about my baby. You can tell they wanted to get the best photos of your kid and not just crank out photos monotonously. When we went in, she was just as warm as she was on the phone. She made it easy to approach her with new ideas. She and Andre made a great team: one caught the attention of my baby while the other snapped the shots. Being six months old, my baby was scared and uncomfortable at times. They were really considerate of him and asked if he needed a break between set changes. The photo copies we got turned out great! I loved the quality but I wished there were more good shots to choose from. There were some picture perfect moments I wish were captured on camera that we missed because Andre was waiting for the smiles. With that said, I'd definitely recommend them. uh oh, found another gem! these guys do something a little different from the typical photographers, and truly deserve a 5 star review so here goes: first off, I take a TON of pictures of my kiddos, from cutesy mini sessions filled with props and cute backgrounds to standard family portraits and cheesy ones from JcPenney to fancy places like Yuen Lui Studios...i have found that you don't always get what you pay for. sometimes you pay a ton and feel totally hosed, and sometimes you feel like you underpaid since you got so many great pictures to treasure and savor! 1) these guys have the BEST props! the motorcycle, complete with leather jacket and jeans and bandanas...the fairy gear, the boxer, the fireman theme...too many themes to mention all in this review, but seriously, some great stuff so if u r into cute themed photo sessions, these guys are for you! check out their website and see their gallery...too cute! 2) they come to YOU! or your preschool. they don't charge an extra fee if u r far, and they are super duper flexible to when is convenient for you! 3) the way they work is you throw a "photo party" they come bringing all the props and you have your friends and their kiddos over and each kiddo gets a turn! you pick which theme you want, and they work their magic! afterwards you get to see the pictures and decide if you want to buy a little package or a big package or canvas prints, etc, etc...you buy as little or as much as you want! VERY AFFORDABLE!!!!!!!!! 4) THEY TAKE THEIR TIME! you don't feel like you have a 15 minute allotment and time is up, NEXT! not at all...my kids are butts. i am sort of a crazy person who does waaaaaaay too many photo sessions with my kiddos (i figure the more the merrier!) and sometimes they are great, but often times they are difficult and it takes time for them to get in position and smile and be cute. so i was very grateful that they were really patient and took the time to really get some good shots in! 5) Margaret, she is pretty meticulous and notices all the details. to get the photo just right, adjusting the collar so, fixing that stray hair, adjusting the dress to be more flattering...i stood there watching how she really focused on fixing all the little things and when you see the final product, it is some damn fine quality pictures! 6) the only con is...if u can even call it that, is how they don't come out for ONE family. its got to be like a group of 4-5 or more families that want to take pictures together (so its worth it on their side...but it makes total sense thou! you just gotta have some girlfriends that are like minded and want to do the same thing! **** a way around this is to try to get your kiddo's preschool to try them! that way everyone can enjoy them~ they are really flexible and super easy to talk to! ******* i'll be honest, this particular time around, my kids were like little demons. i was in LOVE with the motorcycle, and the leather jacket...oh man that was what i really really wanted...but my kids both had other ideas...my son was static cling to my butt and my daughter was truly being a pain since she is already used to Winter (another awesome find) and i thought i would not get any great shots...and i was very pleasantly surprised with the outcome! totally worth it!!!! they serviced my daughter's preschool recently, and i saw the work they did with some of her classmates...TOO CUTE! the director of the school was so darn happy with how the pictures came out that they were invited to come back for the fall school pictures AND the upcoming holiday family photo session! yay for me since they will be doing it during school hours and i don't have to drive all over the place or skip work to make it happen~ overall, i am just so pleased with the quality of the pictures...i foresee many future photo sessions with them...and who ever has seen the pictures that they took are impressed! i'm gonna add some up here on yelp so u can be the judge! read more

We purchased an Amazon promotion to get pics of the family for the holidays and decided to try out Kidz Pix. What struck me about this business was the customer service by the owners, Margaret and Andre. They are genuine and as nice as they come, answering my many questions about locations with patience and promptness. On the day of the shoot, it was raining, and instead of cancelling, they waited for my entire family to show up, and we ended up having a beautiful shoot when the rain let up. If you have little kids, Margaret is great! She comes along with the photographer and pays attention to the details, from coordinating poses, to making sure your hair is out of your face, and to getting your kids attention when the photo is snapped. We ended up getting some charming pics of the family and kids (not an easy feat with two little kids). Margaret kept in touch with me throughout the whole process and the end products turned out beautiful. They also did a great job editing the photos. Their customer service and professionalism are top notch! We will be returning for them to take pics of the kids as they get older. read more

We had a great photo session with our entire family with KidzPix. It was really hot the day of the photo shoot so we could only keep the kids from melting down for about 45 minutes. It didn't matter, because in that 45 minutes, we got great group photo's as well as individual ones of the boys. The staff at KidzPix were very professional and worked with us to get the photo's that we wanted edited and printed. We had our photo session mid-May at Heritage Park. My toddler wasn't cooperating and I was getting hot. It was difficult to get anywhere with the photo session. But Margaret and her team were very patient and we ended up with great shots with my son even smiling. She also brought hats and cute props for us to use.
