Why didn't I come to Petaluma Community Acupuncture sooner?!…read more I came here for plantar fasciitis (aka the worst) after trying everything my doctor recommended with minimal improvement. A friend suggested this place, and I'm so glad I listened. Total game changer. I started seeing Elizabeth and Steven, who set me up on a twice-a-week plan for a few weeks, then once a week after that, and it actually worked. My pain dropped dramatically, and I began looking forward to each session. If you've never been to a community-style acupuncture clinic, it might feel a little different at first: a big, peaceful room filled with recliners (each with its own colorful sheet) and everyone in full relaxation mode. You get comfy, they pop in the needles, and suddenly you're in the most blissful nap of your life. Elizabeth (the owner) and Steven are both amazing - super knowledgeable, collaborative, and they actually read your chart and adjust your treatment each time based on how you're feeling. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I hear Mackenzie is awesome, too. My daughter saw her and loved her experience! Payment is on a sliding scale after your first visit, which makes it easy to keep up with treatment. And don't miss the adorable little shop out front. I may have gone overboard on crystals, but hey, good energy never hurts! Once you go here to Petaluma Community Acupuncture, you'll walk out feeling lighter, calmer, and wondering why you didn't start sooner.

On this particular day, I was going to check out the tinctures they had in different drinks inside their little refrigerator. I was surprised to see so many different types of vitamins, as well as Replacement/supplements in their store!! I need to make an appointment with them next time so I can actually get Acupuncture! But the lady was very nice and greeted me. She told me the pricing since they didn't really have a price sheet. Initial consultation $80 return visit, $60 - session Not too bad considering the acupuncture and cupping place I go to in Sunnyville charges $120 for acupuncture and cupping, but granted thank you a 90 minute session at gin Acupuncture.

She took the time to really listen and go through everything with me and I felt genuinely seen and understood. She's thorough, intuitive, and explains things clearly. The session included acupuncture, cupping, a quick but welcome neck and shoulder massage, a sound bowl over my heart chakra and a muscle test to choose the right herbs. Of course everyone's TCM visit will vary but this was awesome. When I left, I felt recharged, less emotionally disconnected and frazzled like my body just got new spark plugs and a tune-up. I'll absolutely be back.

Most of my…read morevisits have been centered on getting the 79 year old me "in balance" as part of an overall plan to maintain my health. I use both Western and Eastern medicine treatments. Today was focused on pain under and around my scapula. Lisa used standard acupuncture pins for the pain outside the scapula. But for the first time she used healing sounds to go UNDER my scapula as well. By the end of the "1 hour" treatment my pain level dropped from an 8 to closer to a 2. This after almost 4 weeks of pain. It was like magic! My time invested with Lisa has paid off over the long run, but today it was totally focused on the "now." I'm not pain-free, but for today I am aggravation free! Update: it's 24 hours later and the pain under and around my scapula is no more annoying than any other part of my body.

Not only did my pinched nerve improve after a few sessions, but I also experienced benefits I wasn't expecting. My sleep improved, I felt noticeably calmer, and the constant stress I had been carrying seemed to ease. Acupuncture helped regulate my nervous system, and I've found myself feeling much more patient, relaxed, and balanced overall. Aimee has made such a positive difference in my life, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone considering acupuncture.

I started seeing Colleen after a heavy breakup and wanting to reconnect to myself and it was far and away exactly what I needed and every treatment/appointment is filled with intention. I had to take a little break to deal with some life stuff -- but dealing with life stuff is what will bring me back and I am so looking forward to centering myself and coming back home to myself through accupuncture. Highly recommend!! Could not sing Nido's praises more

My food intolerances were getting so bad that I was having reactions to nearly every type of food out there. Three weeks after undergoing the SAAT acupuncture, I was able to eat foods and drink beverages which I hadn't been able to handle for seven years. I was shocked how well it worked. Prior to this experience, I had never had any experience with acupuncture, I knew nothing about acupuncture, nor did I particularly believe in acupuncture. Obviously now I am a believer in this interesting modality. The practitioner and owner David Russell is a very honest, hard working, patient and kind person. He seeks to help others and doesn't try to pressure patients to do anything that he doesn't believe will help them. He is a great listener and I am very grateful to have found him and his practice.
