The studio is upstairs from Old Chicago on Petaluma Blvd. Heather curates a stunning space from entrance to yoga room. There is a 10,000 Buddhas mural by Amanda Giacomini that is a gift to sit under. I find it easier to be present practicing amongst the beautiful crystals sprinkled throughout with a wood floor and sky lights. The sound system allows teachers to use a microphone so it is easy to hear. The majority of the classes for flow focused, but many offerings to adapt for your preference. I've been coming for 3 years now, rotating between hot Pilates and the classic 90-minute Bikram class (a true test of body and willpower). I started coming because I wanted to find a community that shared my values of health, fitness, and wellness. When you first walk into that hot room, it can feel intimidating, like, "Wait, I signed up for this on purpose?" But trust me, everyone starts somewhere, and you'll quickly realize you belong. Lynn and Jeff, the owners, are legends who have built something special with their three studios (Petaluma, SF, and Berkeley). I go to the Petaluma location. I've been too all the other (cheaper) gyms in town and can say that they they were cleaner than this place.
