They scheduled an appointment without confirming the date that I was unable to attend, I called 3 days in advance to reschedule. The lady who answered the phone confirmed that it was rescheduled. David still came out on the previous day when I was at work and when I answered the phone and told him I rescheduled the appointment he started yelling and being very unprofessional when clearly there was a lack of communication within the company. When he did eventually come back out, he didn't bring the proper supplies to patch the wall that had previously tested positive for black mold. We asked for him to come back when it could be properly patched up because we didn't want to risk being exposed to black mold if it was still there. He got an attitude about it and said we would have to pay an additional fee for him to return. It's not our fault he came out and didn't have the proper supplies when he knew in advance which areas we wanted retested! Then they never walked through the test results. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

Kelly inspected our new construction home that we are in the process of purchasing in Youngsville. He was recommended to us by our realtor and I am SO glad that I heeded her advice! As first time home buyers, we weren't sure exactly what to expect during the home inspection process. And since our home is new construction, I wasn't even sure that we needed a home inspection. Kelly quickly proved the value of a home inspector within our first few minutes in the door! He inspected every nook and cranny of the house and was so thorough in making sure that our home was up to code and perfect. He recommended splash guards on our gutters, noticed a small drip leak on the outdoor hose faucet, and even eyed an uneven gutter that would collect water and breed mosquitoes over time. Kelly took several photos of all of his findings and he walked us through every photo before we left the house. He explained each one, adding that all of the photos would also be included in his report that we would send to us later that day. Often the father and son work together on the same inspection, so they can do a detailed inspection in half the time. Recommended very highly to any Buyer for pre-purchase or seller pre-market inspections in the area for their inspection needs.

It has been 1 month, and after repeated emails, phone calls, and texts she replied to one email stating she was having "issues with email attachments". That was the only communication thus far, and we still have not received any report on our samples. So our experience highlights two possible scenarios: 1. The owner is unable to provide results in a timely manner, and she is unable to use basic email technology to serve her customers, OR 2. The owner is a scammer who requires payment up front with no intention of providing services. The matter still has not been resolved.

Another regional company, which I had called first, recommended that I have them out for a $195 visit and enroll in a $109-per-month follow-up service. Part of the service included controlling for ticks in our yard, even though we were certain we picked up the ticks during the previous weekend's travels. The person on the phone gave no answers at all about the ticks, whether they could lead to an infestation, etc. After we texted Jesse a picture of the ticks, he identified them and said tick infestations are rare, we should wash our sheets in hot water and dry them on high heat, vacuum thoroughly, check with a doctor to see if there are any health concerns, and call him if we were still seeing ticks in a few weeks. I also mentioned our having seen a few cockroaches around the house. He gave similar advice: it's late summer; if you're not seeing more than a few, don't worry; and call back if you start seeing more. He even gave advice about duct-taping over the flashing in our vents if they had pulled away from the wood. I think the two negative reviews represent folks who misinterpreted his bluntness as a bad attitude. I found him to be straight to the point, knowledgeable, and honest even against his self-interest. So a long story short: I was prepared to spend money on two different; Jesse talked me out of it and instead gave me helpful free advice. This may have cost him some business today, but we now know whom to call if we have any bug problems in the future.
