I was able to get an appointment at Killer Ink Tatoo & Piercing out in Buford Georgia on September 28th and was not disappointed. I have attached their business card to this post so that you have all the information to connect with them if you so choose. Because of Covid over the last two years the studio is extremely busy now, but they do have cancellations and they have a very knowledgeable and friendly staff that could help you secure an appointment. My tattoo artist was Jon, and I really enjoyed the very well lit, clean, and unique interior of this tattoo studio. Jon was a great fit for my first visit there at Killer Ink. He was friendly, very skilled, and I hope to have him do more of my ink art in the future. I am very excited to have found this place which is only 35 minutes from my house. My daughter and I used to go across the border into Alabama (a 3 hour drive), but our tattoo artist closed his doors in the beginning of this year. It was heartbreaking, but it was time to move on and I am very excited to have found this place. So, there you have it! I have had many of piercings done here (nipples, cartilage, tragus) and they were done great. However they lost my business after piercing my septum. It was pierced so low to the point I could feel it through the under part of my nose. When it was first pierced I felt like the clamps were too low but I trusted my piercer. The piercing was done so fast it felt almost rushed. It bled and throbbed for the rest of the night until I got it removed. I also received a second opinion and the piercer agreed it was done incorrectly. I got it repiered later (at a different shop) and it was painless. I don't know what happened with my septum because they pierced everything else great. Hope that it was a fluke. read more

I brought my eight-year-old daughter here to get her ears pierced. She was excited, but also very nervous, as one might expect. We had the pleasure of having Terri as our piercer, and she was amazing! My daughter got cold feet just before the actual piercing, and Terry was extremely patient and encouraging while I talked with my daughter about what she wanted to do. In the end, my daughter rallied and got her ears pierced, and was so happy that she had followed through! My daughter said she felt almost no pain at all! So, for 23 years, I have always admired a septum piercing after seeing it for the first time on a good friend of mine in San Diego. Over the years, I have had several (15) piercings put in from size 12g to 00g, but due to some recent surgeries took them all out except for my PA. I was feeling good yesterday and had several milestones to celebrate - new job, new love interest, new outlook on life - so thought that I would celebrate all the "news" with getting my septum pierced. I know... who would think that a 51 year old fart would celebrate with a new piercing? Well, this guy did. I found Killer Ink through Yelp and as it was the highest rated closest to me, it was going to be the spot. It was only about 12:45 in the afternoon but I thought it would be relatively easy to get in during what (in parlors) used to be the "slow period." Wow - what a mistaken misnomer - there had to be at least 12 people in there waiting for various services and for piercing? Kids with their parents waiting to pierce their belly-buttons, tongues, eyebrows and various other parts of their bodies. I was definitely the old guy in the room - even older than the parents there! Despite the crowd and chaotic nature of the customers, the staff handled it beautifully and greeted me warmly and made me feel comfortable. I don't think I waited more than 15 minutes thanks to the professionalism of the staff in getting people through their parlor, and I was finally given the chance to meet Victoria. Wow, what a lady! She wanted to take care of me since I asked for 14G initial piercing (most are done at 16G) and I had an absolute hoot with her. She was tried and true in the procedure it it came out absolutely straight in the sweet-spot for septum piercing. Thanks to her professionalism, infectious laugh and sparkling personality, the procedure was relatively painless (not completely - you are getting a hole punched through your face!) and took less than 10 minutes. I cannot highly recommend Killer Ink and - in particular, Victoria - for any piercing needs. I will definitely return for any upsizing or jewelry change-outs that I do in the future. I set an Oct tattoo apt for both myself & husband in July. I didn't want this to slip past & not get an apt... it is our 24th wedding anniversary & I want to do something fun for us. They charge a $50 deposit, which is completely fair!! We decided to do something over that weekend I chose, so I called to cancel the date & free it up for other clients. I told the girl I would call & reschedule ASAP. I asked the girl if my $50 would be refunded & I can get re-charged when I reschedule the date. She said she would call the owner/manager & call me back. To this day, 3 weeks later, I have not heard back. So I lost my deposit when I cancelled 3 months in advance (to reschedule later in Oct) when I figure out our schedules... they lost 2 appointments for not calling me back & refunding (or not) the deposit. No call back at all!! Let me just say customer service & doing the right thing goes a very long way. This tattoo shop did not have great customer service, because the girl never bothered to call me back to say, "yes, we will refund" or "no, you lost your money." Just rude not to call back & leave me hanging. They basically just took my money! Not going to this place, ever and rescheduled both appointments at another shop. Can't wait! And, this is not our first tattoo & certainly won't be our last. They lost a lot of business for a measly $50. read more

Cause it's my first visit here. Victoria is so patience and friendly, has a good manner too ! She did the piercing work for me, I was so nervous because I got no experience at all. This is the second time I've been to Killer Ink for a tattoo, both were done by Jon. From the first email I sent with an inquiry, to the completed job, the service was exceptional! Even the day after the latest tattoo I had a question about after care, sent an email with question and had my answer within 1/2 hour after they opened. Referencing one of the other reviews posted, if you are going here expecting a snooty low key "salon", you're in the wrong place. You will be walking into a business filled with edgy artists, moderately loud music, no filters, and probably the kindest, most helpful, wide open personalities I've ever met! I am a professional in the finance industry, so I know business. This is a business that knows what they do, and who their client is! As for the tattoo- I sent Jon pics of roughly what I wanted. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted immediately by the friendliest "front of the house" staff. Once I filled out the required paperwork I sat down with Jon, discussed what I liked and what I didn't like.... then let him work his magic! Hey y'all I wouldn't recommend going here for starters having a huge 'we are not a**holes' in big white font should tell you enough but I was supposed to get a naval piercing here and left with a stomach piercing that was going to reject! So did my sister! If y'all have extra stomach skin I suggest going to real professionals they tried to say my stomach piercing was a floating navel piercing but a floating navel only refers to the way the jewelry looks while it's in I still would've had my navel pierced if I need that jewelry! The whole store wouldn't really take accountability and told me they do that often with bigger ppl and if they come back they have to pay again. We never asked for anything other that a navel piercing. I attached our scars after we decided to take them out and you can see how far they did it. Great service and good staff , but they pierced my cartilage with a 20 gauge. It also had a butterfly back. My first cartilage that was pierced at a different shop was a 16 gauge and flat back. This is one of the most reliable places to go if you want a piercing. I went there two times; once to get my third lobe piercing and the second time to get my industrial piercing. Although it's a little bit of a drive from me their prices are affordable and they are very thorough. I can always count on someone to be readily available when I walk in the door, having great customer service, and answering any questions I have. The employees are very friendly and are great people to have a conversation with. I would hate for there to be an awkward silence between you and the person you're trusting for the service. I absolutely love that their motto is, " we're not assholes", because trust me, I have had experiences with other tattoo places that like really messed me over from charging me half the price of the tattoo and never following through on the date that it was scheduled to shady bosses, that overprice you and judge you for the tattoos that you want, I can thankfully say that I finally have a tattoo parlor to go to every time, because the people here are so sweet and helpful, and always straight forward when it comes to pricing or how long something might take I definitely recommend this business for the hard work and care these artists do! Please don't go here if it's your first experience with a tattoo/piercing shop - or at all honestly. They don't accept cash, have inexperienced piercers, and an uncomfortable environment. My piercing was too shallow, friend got a septum and the piercer let the clamp hang onto her nose without support while she moved to get something else, long enough that my friend was tearing up before even getting pierced. Getting pierced here reduces the experience tenfold. It honestly felt closer to getting pierced at school by the girl that cusses once a sentence. read more

I got it on my foot (typical, right?) and my artist, Alvin, was great! he really took time to make my tattoo as perfect as possible and gave me his HONEST opinion on location (and by honest, I mean he would be blunt and say "no, that would look stupid"). I needed that, honestly. being a straight forward person, it was nice to have someone be that way with me. he was very professional and lived up to my expectations and did a great job. I love my tattoo! also, this shop has a little tattoo after care kit you can buy for $6 and its great. it comes with lotion, aquaphor, and soap. it also came with a list of instructions and for someone as forgetful as I am, it was a nice thing to have. great prices too! Very happy with my over all experience. From my phone call to making my appointment to getting my tattoo and leaving was wonderful! The facility was very clean, open, and airy. The girls at the front where full of "hellos" and smiles. They artist all had great attitudes and laughed non stop. It was a very happy environment. Personally I saw Ben. He did a great job! Helped me create a meaningful tattoo. He really listened to my wants and communicated well. The actual time spent in the chair was enjoyable! Took my daughter to get a piercing for her birthday present. I would have walked out if it wasn't my daughters present. The person that actually did the piercing, think her name was Carly, was very professional and explained what she was going to do, aftercare instructions and answered our questions. Problem I had was the place was very loud, felt rushed by first person we spoke with about piercing and the tattoo artists were having loud conversations, swearing loudly enough for my family to hear from the front of the store. Gave this place a 3 only because the person that did the piercing was a professional and acted like one. Never been tattooed here and never will be. May be good artists?, but they need to run a more professional shop. Too many shops with true artists that run professional shops in the area to choose from Customers should feel comfortable to ask questions and not rushed, employees shouldn't act like they are at home or on the streets. Tone it down, reduce the amount of swearing, take an extra minute or two with your customers. Ironically, they state they are not assholes on their website, lol If you start off defending yourself from the beginning.....it's probably got some truth behind it. read more
