I went with my daughter to get her ears repierced and my nose pierced. We had to fill out some paperwork before our pricing. The man that did our pricing wad really kind and patient with my daughter. Even where he put the piercing on her was better and my daughter was not in much pain. My nose pricing also went super quick and didn't really hurt. He was great! Everything about this place is wonderful. The staff are extremely kind and welcoming, and no matter who you speak to they will treat you very warmly. The interior is gorgeous, clean, and spacey. This is not only limited to the lobby but the tattoo/piercing spaces as well. I have never had a concern regarding cleanliness while here. The jewelry selection is large and reasonably priced. Having a piercing done here alongside buying jewelry is within fair price ranges. The piercers are very accommodating and willing to answer questions. They were so great that I came for my first ever tattoo on my 18th birthday which was so special to me. I've continued to support them and recommend to everyone for good reason. I've exclusively gone to Marissa basically since she started and can't say enough good things. She's an amazing person and amazing piercer. Whether it's a septum, cartilage, or a curated set, she's made me comfortable and always makes me feel confident. Loved our experience today with Jason. He pierced my daughter's ears. He was kind and careful. Can't say enough good things about him. The place was clean and all employees were lovely. The games in the waiting area were awesome. And there will probably be a wait if you come for piercing. I was expecting that and didn't mind at all. Their estimate of wait time was accurate. A wait tells me they are good at what they do! Only one thing I'd have changed. They usually give out cleaning solution but we're out. I feel like that's included in the price even if it only costs a few dollars so they could have discounted the piercing...or offered an alternative. I went there thinking I'd be set and then had to spend a few extra dollars and make another stop with a bunch of kids. Not a big deal but didn't love that. It's not the cheapest place you'll find nor the most expensive. It wasn't close to my house but I'd make the trip again as the experience was fantastic. read more

Called today and inquired about getting my nose pierced, I was advised that they were still taking walk-ins. The woman that answered the phone explained that I just need to call when I got outside. They make you wash your hands before you even get through the entire door. I was happy they hand some type of procedure in place with the Coivd still going on. Jason took excellent care of me, he answered all of my questions without being annoyed, because I'm pretty sure he hears the same questions all day. I went in to accompany my nieces who wanted a nose piercing and I totally randomly decided that this place was so awesome that I have to get the tattoo I've wanted for so long. The chemical symbol for serotonin and the semi colon for depression after having overcome depression and anxiety and still constantly battling it. Brian was Ahmazing. He even suggested and corrected the direction of the way I wanted the tattoo cus he just knows what is more classic! He drew such clean lines and the shop is so sterile! It is amazing. Absolutely rude customer service! Stopped in to get an ear piercing and was looking at an ear diagram deciding what I wanted to get done and was yelled at by the young blonde girl behind the counter who had taken my ID. I didn't realize she was yelling at me and when I walked down the counter she rudely said "what do you want done??" And a solid eye roll. I hadn't even had 5 minutes to finish discussing with my partner what I was getting. I am extremely lenient and patient with employees and this chick was down right ridiculous. The girl working the front desk (mid-twenties with short dirty blonde hair and glasses), was horribly rude to my mother. It's her first tattoo and presented the picture of what she wanted and the girl goes "well I'm just going to tell you now that won't work", she said the size she wanted was too small and wouldn't work, as we were showing her a picture of the small tattoo, she's not even the artist! then that we should have a consultation today and come in for a later appt? I have 3 tattoos and I've never had to have a consultation and separate appt for a small tattoo, wasn't even very intricate. My mom said it was her birthday and we just wanted to get our name on the list, she said "well happy birthday but you can't get that" ??? How rude and terrible customer service. I spoke up for my mom and said we didn't need a consultation just wanted to get our name on the list. She said we could go look at artist portfolios. After flipping through I went to the desk and asked if she could take our name down. Then she said we couldn't get a tattoo today. Why didn't she just tell us there was no availability when we walked in? What a terrible front desk worker, needs an attitude change and to be kind to incoming customers. I loved this tattoo shop but we won't be back, we went across the street to Pur Ink Tattoo shop and we waited for 20 minutes, so nice to us as foot traffic customers, and are giving my mom the small bird tattoo she wanted for her birthday. Take notes Inksomnia. The "business owner'" (receptionist) commented back to me, again my issue wasn't your processes, also you have lied in your response, you didn't tell us you didn't have time until after we talked and came back to the front to ask if we could put our names down. Also it was the terribly rude girl who was unkind to us, you didn't have to act like that. And a small tattoo that isn't difficult does not need a consultation. We also didn't change our minds to a feather, you told her a bird couldn't be done today so we were trying to compromise and do something smaller / easier. Also if you were fully booked, she could've said that when we walked in. We went across the street to Pur Ink and the man rather helped us. This also isn't the business owner responding, it's the same b*tchy receptionist trying to justify her actions. nice try. I went to Inksomnia to get my second earlobe piercings. I was feeling strangely nervous, possibly because it was my first time in a tattoo/piercing shop. The nervousness might have also stemmed from the fact that I got my first earlobe piercings at Claire's when I was a kid, and they became pretty infected (in addition to being lopsided). I ended up asking my piercer Jason a bunch of questions, and he was super sweet and patient about everything! He took the time to explain everything to me and never once showed signs of annoyance or frustration. I was also surprised at how meticulous he was about my piercings. He marked my ears several times until he was satisfied with their placement. I calmed down after he pierced one ear, but I appreciate how chill he was until that point! I know he does much more exciting and complex piercings, so I really appreciate the fact that Jason never made me feel like any less of a client for getting something so basic. Hubs and I decided to set aside some money for some new ink. We wanted to go somewhere nearby and did some research. After two positive reviews from friends and perusing their website we decided to come in to check it out. The week before Valentine's Day we stopped in and made appointments with our respective artists. Mike, the owner, did mine on Valentine's Day. I wanted a colorful henna style lotus flower on my lower back. Mike was super cool, and even though it was painful (for me), he kept up witty banter the whole time. Thank goodness! Plus it turned out beautifully. My husband made his appointment with Shane. He designed a large quarter sleeve tattoo to enhance an old one my husband already had. It was (is!) AWESOME.
