I was having a problem deciding on the roof color, so Rolando asked me which ones i was thinking about. He then sent me addresses that corresponded with the different roof colors. That really helped because what I thought I wanted didn't look like what I thought it would. I was able to pick the one I really liked, seeing it in person. Everything was top notch. Rolando even coordinated with Waynes solar to take our Solar water heater panel taken down just before their start. Angel oversaw the project from beginning to the end and was great! He sent us photos of the work in progress the entire time. The workers were amazing and the little lady they had going around, keeping tarps in place and picking up any debris was very sweet. I'll start with our Real Estate Agent from NextHome in Palm Coast…read more Garrett showed us several houses in Palm Coast and we weren't happy with any of them. He asked us what we were looking for. My wife said "cul da sac with a water view"! Totally impossible I know. In a day Garrett found a property to build on. We were hesitant but interested. He found us a property that was exactly to our needs. We were obviously nervous as this was our first build . The purchase process was seamless. We visited several builders and again Garrett guided us. We chose Blue Water Homes. The build was easy and finished two months earlier than predicted. Not at all what we expected. Blue Water Homes was super easy to deal with and honestly super professional. Cudos to them as well! Garrett supported us all the way with the unexpected help of his wife Angel who is also in real estate. You can't find better real estate representation in Palm Coast! He is a wealth of local information and contacts. From whole house water filtration, shed companies, dock companies, localizing your home to the community and the list goes on. We are week one in our new home and absolutely love the final build! Continued--- I promised Bluewater I would give them an honest review after a year of living in our new home and it's been a year and 3 months. From the start of the build everything was easy. With any build you find issues you would like taken care of right away. Bluewater did exactly that and fixed our urgent issues which were minor by the way. Mind you these were minor issues. Richard, the Project Manager, suggested we wait until our one year warranty was almost up until we call so they can address everything at once. Ok. We agreed. So at the end of the warranty Richard arrives and goes through our checklist. No problem. We'll take care of it and they did. A little painting touch up, drawer not closing properly, tray light burnt out, small issue with the irrigation, fixed the noisy garage door. Minor issue with the gutters overflowing. FIXED. All of it! Also to note is we also contracted with Blue Water to include a designed pool and hot tub. This I believe is a new venture for Blue Water. Troy was patient and responding to every concern. He walked us through and designed it and it's awesome. Also outstanding service! Every call answered and every concern resolved. Thank You Troy! The minor pool issues and follow up were extraordinary. The pool service they use is Lotus Pools in Palm Coast. Great guys and super knowledgeable. The owner Steve (also a good guy) stopped by several times to make sure everything was perfect. We have contracted them for monthly service. Something else we don't have to worry about. Final Review This is the first home we have contracted to build a new home. It is our forever home. Blue Water and the folks they have working for them are outstanding professionals. Maggie Linneville, Real Estate Agent, was particularly integral to interior design. We didn't ask for it, just happened. Thank you Maggie! Richard and Bridget at Blue Water are rock stars. Bridget answered every one of our many questions within a day through this year and half process. With our many requests, none went left unanswered. We never felt like we were complaining. When asked by friends how we did on the house build, it's a simple answer. I'd do it again but only with Blue Water. I'll give them a 95 percent rating only because nothing is perfect, but we couldn't be happier with the house, the pool and the service that was provided. I don't consider my reviews lightly. I point out positives and negatives honestly. Well done Blue Water! Particular thank to Garrett Decker and Angel Decker. We wouldn't be here and super happy without their help.
