This is a great spot for anyone with a sweet tooth! Staff here were so friendly, and offered for us to try some different flavors before making our selection. I've been coming here for many years, but since I don't live nearby anymore, this was my first visit back in over eight years. It was nice to see that it's still a lovely shop. The store is beautifully set up with display tables throughout, filled with grab-and-go gifts, and everything is arranged so nicely. They also serve ice cream, and the candy cases are packed with chocolate, including several flavors of fudge. I picked up a box of four chocolate covered pretzels. The two milk chocolate were very good, but the white chocolate ones didn't quite live up to my expectations, which was surprising because I love white chocolate. Prices are about what you would expect from a specialty chocolate shop that uses high-quality ingredients. The young lady working behind the counter was very friendly. She gave me a sample of their fudge, which was a thoughtful touch, and she also rang me up. If you're looking for a gift, this is definitely a great place to stop. You can customize your own gift box, and they also sell delicious chocolate and caramel dipped apples. I didn't get one this visit, but I've had them in the past and remember them being quite good. So this is a mixed review for me here ; I know they have great items and the variety is huge . But I am writing the review based on what I had . I came here for the chocolate covered apples ; I been looking for a chocolate covered apple with hershies that I had at a fair before and I still have not been able to find. I came here and they had the s'mores apple and many others . I decided to get the s'mores apple and the regular chocolate covered one . I didn't like how the chocolate covered apple was first covered with caramel ; so it was not what I wanted but I gave it a try anyways . The s'mores apple was ok , it was too sweet honestly and hard to eat since it had giant marshmallows . Also the other chocolate covered apple was really sour . I think it was on route of going bad . I stopped by Kilwin's on my way home. I was craving some chocolate after a long day. I remember I love the milk chocolate marshmallow on a stick. The dark chocolate one is good too. I also got a milk chocolate covered Graham crackers that was a bit stale. Kilwins has all sorts of flavors, textures, types of candy. Their fudge is ok, i am not a huge fan of it. Gee...I just came back with a $70 order. Why the hell didn't I get a thank you from the girl after paying, especially after adding a 15% tip on the card? Plus, I was fortunate enough to only have one person ahead of me, and had to understandably wait since she was the only person handling the counter. No one behind me, but damn...if there's even a small crowd there? Forget it. And not to get a thank you from her after I gave her a friendly thank you...plus a TIP!? Kilwins is a mom and pop confectionary shop that was founded in 1947 in Petoskey Michigan. Now the company operates 123 stores in 22 states. We have a number of them in South Florida where I live and I usually visit them for ice cream. They also sell fudge, delectable candy apples, and other confections. This Kilwin's is located in The Walk on Coral Springs. I have been here more times than I can count. There are a number of restaurants and shops in The Walk and this is the perfect place to walk over for dessert After a not so great dinner at the new Italian restaurant my friend and I decided to salvage the night with some ice cream. I ordered my usual chocolate chip mint with hot fudge. I am a big fan of their caramel dipped apples and chocolate covered strawberries. All of their confections are pretty pricey though. During this visit the store was mobbed and my friend and I got separated. One person scooped me and then I took it up to the cashier to pay. The person scooping the ice cream ended up charging my friend for both of our cups. She thought she was treating me so my ice cream was double paid. When we were asked if we wanted outer receipts we both said no. Lesson learned, keep your receipt. Kilwin's always does a great job with holiday treats. I picked up some Valentine's chocolates, cookies, and pretzels for a friend. Confections are pricey but always top notch. This store is always busy. This store is way over priced. They charge you $4 for a peanut butter cup. I could go to the grocery store and buy a whole lot of peanut butter cups for that price. Everything is simply too expensive. We stopped in here to get ice cream and a chocolate treat for our kids. We ended up buying a small chocolate ice cream and a chocolate turtle. We looked at the fudge, and the peanut butter cups, and couldn't rationalize paying their exorbitant prices. Next time, we'll go somewhere a little bit cheaper. read more

We go to Kilwin's for ice cream often enough, and today the cashier asked if I wanted my receipt. I replied yes, I bought one caramel apple and one scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone. I noticed on the receipt that they have a .50 cent surcharge for not paying cash. I didn't mind paying over $16.00 for my two items, not the .50cent surcharge annoyed me. The prices are up there already, and while it's good quality, I think that they should be more up front. When I asked about it I was told that there was a sign and actually, there was. The sign is flat on the counter but was covered by another piece of paper. They have a good collection of cute shapes and styles of fudge and chocolate items, lollipops of chocolate and dipped marshmallows. Kilwin's is pretty good and cute. As far as eating the delicious ice cream, there is seating outside but not inside. It's quite crowded inside with retail goods and preparation areas. Tonight, it took quite a long time to be served, despite the fact that they had three employees and only three customers. (It's busier at night). The employees were more focused on tasks than assisting. Also, my apple was put in a paper bag when I know that they have cute plastic boxes. It wasn't offered. Stopped for fudge to give away to a few friends for x-mas. A young man put 3 wedges together in a bag. I have never seen them do that. I had to ask for them to be separated. The next day, when I went to wrap the boxes of fudge, the person did not wrap the fudge in plastic wrap or paper. The fudge stuck to the boxes and bled through. What a waste. Who doesn't love Kilwins?! This place smells divine as soon as you walk in you get smacked of the smell of sweet waffle cones baking and just so good! Calories in samples don't count ,right? I mainly come for the ice cream but I have bought some fudge... too good. I've had their banana ice cream and it is to die for. I've only been able to find the once. I believe they rotate flavors and banana is a seasonal one. This particular Kiliwins is pretty cramped, it isn't small, it just feels that way because there is so much going on. There are no tables in the shop. You have to sit outside. Clerks are pretty nice and courteous. I mean really, if I worked smelling all that goodness all day long, I would be walking on clouds myself. The Kilwins in Coral Springs is one of the best ice cream stores to visit in the city. Right off the bat you have to try the Coral Springs mud along with many other delicious flavors that they have plus many different chocolates to choose from. We usually go for the ice cream which is always fresh and yummy but the store is super packed and you feel like you are in dessert heaven. I love the Coral Springs mud along with the dulce de Leche and over the last 10 years we have always had a good time with the employees giving us more than ample to munch on but somewhere in the middle they started becoming pretty stingy and started to weigh the scoops. Hopefully that was just a blimp in the ice cream experience which I haven't encountered on recent visits. Every time we go to kilwins it always looks busy but somehow we can find a spot to sit outside and enjoy our ice cream scoops with the evening breeze. 5 star unless the owners decide to bring out the weighing scale again. read more

Many other desserts of-course. They are much more than your ordinary neighborhood ice cream shop. They make delicious fudge, Carmel apples, chocolates, different candy, and strawberry among other fruits covered in chocolate. There are multiple locations in FL but this is my favorite one. And I won't lie to you, sometimes I taste the ice cream as well because it's pretty good. My fairly recent discovery is their fresh juice option. They have a orange/lemon/lime which they juice these three ingredients with ice and a bit of simple syrup. So good and refreshing. I like this location of Kilwins, there are a good amount of chairs and tables near the water fountain. OMG I'm so glad I stumbled onto this place! My husband and I went to order food from TooJays and then went to take a walk. Our walk took us past this little store in the next plaza over. And the aroma when we walked in! It was amazing! I spoke with the young lady there and let her know that I was just inhaling: I'm lactose intolerant. I loved the caramel apples I've had so far. The ice cream flavors, well the three I've tried so far a bursting with flavor and I blush with every bite. Sad but true. The price of the ice cream is worth it. I've never paid that much for a ice cream cone, but it was worth every penny. My waffle cone was kept warm under a heat lamp, and even though my ice cream was already in the cone it didn't melt. It was like magic. Lol. As my sister and I approached the shop yesterday it smelled like melting marshmallows outside. When We walked in an employee was making waffle cones.
