That said, I have a sweet tooth, so I still loved it--and even though it definitely wasn't the lowest-calorie choice, it was absolutely worth it! A partnership with Cognizant Cards and Collectibles led to opening their first permanent storefront on the Belcrest Plaza on Federal Highway in Pompano Beach earlier this year. Primoo Bobba has a counter in the back across from Cognizant Cards collectibles. There are large tables throughout the space so you can hang out for awhile if you want. Boba is also known as bubble milk tea and pearl milk tea. It is generally a cold, sweet milk tea served with chewy tapioca balls. The drink became popular in the US in the 1990's when Taiwanese immigrants opened the first bubble tea shop in California. While the antioxidants in the tea are positive for your health, the drinks can contain a lot of sugar so everything in moderation. The Primoo Bobba menu features coffee, milk tea, and fruit teas with boba and jelly additions. I ordered my favorite lychee green tea with popping lychee boba. It was the perfect sweetness for my taste. While my drink was made I checked out the Pokeman cards and collectibles. This is such a cool spot. I am happy to have discovered them for my boba fix. ​
