Our team went to Kris and Sam's for lunch in the Region's building to hang out and socialize. Kris and Sam's is a nice eatery on the first floor of the Regions building where state of AR workers can come to grab a sandwich, salad, or a lunch special during their lunch hour. The ambiance is nice and cozy, and the ladies are very hospitable and prepare the food very fresh and with love. They have daily specials where if you order an entree, you get a free cookie with your order. The cookies are homemade and taste very good. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and picked a double chocolate chip cookie. The chicken salad sandwich was fresh and delicious. The double chocolate chip cookie was excellent. All in all, Kris and Sam's is a great lunch place for state of AR workers to grab a quick bite before getting back to work, and hang out during their lunch hour. I see why people like this place for lunch because it is wonderful and very wholesome among the state employees to get together and chat over lunch at a great eatery in the building. The crew in this deli are amazing. I eat there often and they never disappoint. I have had them cater a number of lunches ranging from 10 to 30 people. They deliver on time set up give us way too much food at a very reasonable price. Their cookies are amazing. You must try. read more

They use to be located in the Simmons Bank building but they relocated next door to the Regions bank building. While moving into a new space they also expanded their Menu! It's a good place to go for lunch. Their boxed lunches improved and you get to pick between chips or fries. It also still comes with a cookie which is tasty as always! You do have to purchase a drink separately but overall the food is good. There's also tables for you to sit and eat at now and they keep the area clean. I got the Oatmeal raisin walnut cookie and a couple of others. The customer service, from the lady who answered the phone to the conversation when I picked up my order (two of us are Gigi's). This food is delicious. My favorite is the chicken salad grilled with cheese added. Coworkers have gotten the chefs salad which looks absolutely delicious and it's not a small salad. Their cookies are delicious(salted caramel is my favorite) . If you haven't tried anything from here, you are missing out. read more

I'm not much of a baked goods person, so I'm not familiar with the going-rate of cookies. When I walked in, I was surprised by how expensive the cookies were ("a dollar seventy five per cookie? what is this? some sort of cookie racket?"), but since I was already there, and I needed to pick up a few for a gift, I bought what I needed + one for myself. My god! These are good cookies! I had what I believe is their specialty, the frosted cookies. They are all the goodness of a cupcake squashed down into a little delightful discus of deliciousness. The cookies were so good that I came back next week for lunch. They have boxed lunches that are a good deal: a sandwich, chips, strawberries, a string cheese, and a cookie, for $9ish. I have been to Kris and Sam's numerous times since my original review, and they always aim to please. I typically get a sandwich combo (turkey or BLT) or daily special (Tuesday they offer a Roasted Chicken Breast lunch special, while on Thursdays they offer an Enchilada lunch special.) The food is always good, but the cookies are amazing! At least, the shortbread cookies are amazing (I am not sure I have even tried the others!) They are the BEST shortbread cookies I have ever tasted. They make numerous flavors, such as pecan shortbread, chocolate almond shortbread, lemon shortbread, peanut butter shortbread, kiss shortbread, and most recently, strawberry shortbread. They are huge, dense, and delicious! All are tasty, but I am partial to the pecan shortbread. If shortbread isn't your thing, the offer sugar cookies, brownies, no-bake cookies, oatmeal cookies, and a variety of others. read more

Absolutely delicious treats! We tried pecan shortbreads, strawberry shortbreads, peanut butter cookies, cookies with icing, cake bites - so yummy and homemade. In my opinion this place served up treats you'd expect from a grandmother's kitchen, and that was exactly what I was in the mood to have for lunch. I am not a wrap person but theirs are good, I don't pout when i eat it and I actually go out of my way to order it. the first time I bought one it came grilled which I loved. After that they haven't been grilled, not as good, but still awesome. My work buys lunch from there whenever we have our meetings, they never get our order wrong and have really great communication skills. The owner is a doll, meeting her for the first time is like seeing a friend you haven't seen in a while. Their turtle cookies are the best cookie i have ever put in my mouth. I like where they are located i just don't love the parking lot. I highly recommend if you want a sandwhich meater than quizno's. read more
