The staff seemed organized, and both the doctors and nurses were professional and kind. Unfortunately, that has completely changed. Recently, I had a very upsetting experience involving miscommunication and unprofessional behavior from the office. In January, I had an appointment to restart my Accutane treatment after rescheduling a previous visit. I was told I would receive my prescription at my next appointment. At my February appointment, the nurse clearly instructed me to pick up my medication at Walgreens. However, when I went to the pharmacy later that day, I was told that no prescription had been sent in. The following day, my mother contacted the office and spent a long time trying to get clarification, only to be told I needed to complete iPledge requirements -- which I had already done. When I personally called the office afterward, I was told that I did not need any medication until my next appointment the following month. Confused but trusting their guidance, I followed what I was told and went an entire month without treatment. At my next appointment on March 25th, I explained the situation. Instead of receiving help or clarification, Mr. Johnson Mwangi entered the room and began raising his voice at me over what he claimed was my mistake. He insisted I had been told to use a different pharmacy, which was never communicated to me, and blamed me for "wasting time." I tried to explain what I had been told by the staff, but he continued speaking over me in a confrontational tone. The interaction became so uncomfortable that I was brought to tears. I am a 17-year-old patient, and being spoken to this way by a medical professional--especially over what appears to be internal miscommunication--is completely unacceptable. This experience was disappointing and unprofessional. Patients should not be blamed or spoken down to for errors that originate within the office. I hope this location improves its communication and treats future patients with more respect.Especially their younger patients.

I scheduled a followup appointment but I canceled because cleanliness is important to me, especially in a doctor's office.

    Made an appointment for my daughter but she got sick the night before the scheduled appointment .I…read moretried several times to call the number associated with the business and got no response so I decided to drive 50 minutes from Fort Worth the day of the appointment just to make sure that she didn't think we were a no-show, I was planning to take the place of my daughter since she was sick and couldn't get the facial. I waited 15 minutes at the business location with no communication from the owner to say she was late or on her way. Just before I was about to leave she shows up on her phone claims that her mother was in the hospital and that was why she was late. I told her we could go ahead and reschedule my daughter for another time since her mother was ill. In the meantime I called myself trying to support her business and went ahead and scheduled a facial for myself. Huge mistake. Today I drove the 50 mins from Fort Worth only to arrive to a locked door and again, no communication from the owner. I rang the doorbell numerous times, texted the number associated with the business and received no response. I started to ring the doorbell over and over and finally the owner comes out from inside the business claiming she didn't hear the doorbell ring at the originally scheduled appointment time. By now however I am extremely irritated and disappointed by the lack of concern, urgency, or professionalism on her her part. I asked for my money back and she said she would give me money for one of the appointments but not the other. I told I her I wanted a refund for both and would absolutely not be bringing my daughter back for an appointment with her. She tried to say it was her policy and that I wouldn't get a refund. Who does that? I told her I wouldn't be leaving until I received the second refund at which time she threatened to call the police. Bottom line: I got my money back, police were never called. This business owner is extremely unprofessional, not worth the drive or the money. Find someone else.
