I've been going to Queen Bee in Los Angeles for almost 20 years. When I heard the owner, Jodi, was opening up a salon in Dallas, where I live now, I was beyond excited! The places around Dallas to get waxed and treatments are so sub par compared to this gem. Every time I've gone to another place in Dallas bc I wasn't going to be visiting LA for awhile I felt like I was cheating on my husband and it wasn't even worth it!!! LOL. The wax they use is their own formula and it's the best! With their expert technique, it literally does not hurt!! Best services that I get are - waxing on eyebrows and Brazilian, lash tint, lash lift (if you've never had one, OMG!!), spray tan! Hands down the BEST spray tan I've ever had. Color is beautiful and natural. They use a special technique so that you never get the orange hands and feet. The solution is organic and smells really good which is rare. I went to this establishment a little while ago, and it was quite an experience. When I had arrived for my wax appointment, I was notified that the date had been mixed up so they needed me to come back at a different time. But I ended up explaining that I will be out of town and they were able to squeeze me in, which was really nice! However, while I was receiving my wax, the waxer made some comments that were inappropriate. I just felt so judged and embarrassed. Needless to say, I never returned. The wax was nothing special, not super smooth or anything nor did I receive any product after lotion, oil, serum since there were so many comments.... I don't want to assume it was racial but I have also never been back... I'd say go if you check certain boxes .... read more
