The front desk staff was very pleasant. I picked Dr. Jessica as my main therapist to work with. She was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and easy to work with. She explained the exercises in detail i.e. what I needed to do, how it should be done and which muscles the exercise was targeted to work on. My therapy was done three times a week, for period of eight weeks. Dr. Jessica printed the exercises for me to work at home so I can continue my exercises on the days I was not at the facility. The space was very open and there were many PT beds, treadmill machine, stationary bicycles, step stairs, ankle weights, long bands, knee press machines, etc to help with all kinds of physical therapy exercises one may need. I was so excited on the day my knees were able to rotate a full circle on the stationary bicycle. My knee became stronger and I was able to drive again in four weeks. I was able to bend my knee at 136 degree angle, from 60 degrees when I first started. The recovery was wonderful and the therapists were very encouraging to help me to achieve my goals to regain my mobility again. At times, there were student interns to help out and learn at the sessions. If you ever need PT work, please give this BenchMark PT clinic a try. There's easy parking outside the clinic. It was worth every dime to get my therapy here and all the therapists were very professional, knowledgeable, kind and wonderful to work with. No, I did not get any sympathy when I sometimes did not feel like doing some of the exercises. The therapists here kept on encouraging me to do the exercises. After each session, I was given an ice pack to be placed on the knee. Dr. Jessica has a great sense of humor to make me feel at ease. Thank you Benchmark PT for all you do. I am able to walk well and I still continue to do those exercises to strengthen the knee. I love the light and fun environment here. Their clinic hours are long and they will are helpful to fit you in the schedule. My orthopedic surgeon was very pleased with my progress done at BenchMark PT. Needless to say, I'm a very happy patient and highly recommend this clinic. Yelp # 87

Some of these might even seem gimmicky to the untrained eye and yet they all serve a purpose and make the experience all that more invigorating! As my insurance company changed, so did my needs and also the services I needed with who I went with in terms of chiropractic care and my last one did not accept my insurance so I looked long and hard. My insurance company website had this location as one that is great! The hours were decent but what sets them apart is their comprehensive care! They specialize in auto accident and other such spinal ailments so my issue wasn't as dire but still, for me, chiropractic adjustment is needed for preventative measures and general wellness. So I had to check this place out for sure. Upon entry, they make you fill out a new patient form and it's probably the easiest thing to do. Your initial visit is also the longest as Dr. Smith ensures that everything they do is done thoroughly. It might be comprehensive but it is extensive to ensure that everything is done properly, professionally, and provides the best care possible before any actual adjustment. In order to do that, they take an x-ray and discuss areas of concern, then take you to their E-stim machines which basically means, they attach diodes to your lower back and base of your neck and electrically stimulate your muscles to relax them for about 10 minutes which is probably the funkiest yet relaxing feeling you'll get. Next they transfer you to their hydro massage bed which is basically a water bed that sprays jets into your back at rapid pulses to further relax your muscles. Then Dr. Smith goes to work. Once she explains your areas of concern, she then makes the adjustments. And then once done, explains what she'd like to see happen and then provide your next steps as well as payment, insurance offerings, and the next visit. All in all, the experience was great and I think I may have found my new chiropractic care!!! Highly recommend!!!

They Missed My Appointment Twice on the Same Day…read more When I first visited the office in person on this Monday, Dr. Schenendorf (Dr. El) was very nice and friendly. However, her schedule is similar to mine, so I was referred to Dr. Lin because his availability better matched my schedule. The front desk receptionist, April, also told me that the office could offer me an online appointment, so I accepted that online appointment with Dr. Lin for the next day at 2:20 PM. The next day, I rearranged my lunch and work schedule so I could be available for the appointment. Unfortunately, Dr. Lin did not attend the 2:20 PM appointment. At 3:21 PM, I was contacted and told that he had been busy with another patient. I understood that unexpected delays can happen, so I agreed to reschedule the appointment for 4:20 PM that same day. Unfortunately, the second appointment was also missed. At 5:27 PM, I was contacted again and told that Dr. Lin had been busy with a previous patient . I understand that medical offices can become busy and that unexpected delays may occur. However, having both appointments missed on the same day without being notified in advance was very frustrating. It made me feel that my time was not being respected. I had set aside couple of hours for these appointments and had rearranged my work and lunch schedule. Because I was not informed about the delays ahead of time, I also lost the opportunity to use that time productively. During Tuesday's phone conversation with April, I also felt that some of the responsibility was being placed on me because the office normally does not offer online appointments. I was told that the online appointment was offered because our schedules did not match and that online meetings were not considered secure. I would have liked to know in advance if Dr. Lin could not attend either appointment. Then, I could have continued working instead of waiting. I would like the office to acknowledge what happened and explain how this scheduling problem occurred. I would also like a confirmed appointment with Dr. Lin or another qualified provider. Please also confirm to other patients will be notified promptly if there is a delay in the future. Wish the office can improve its communication and scheduling practices so that other patients do not experience the same situation. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident.

I strictly use Alison Brock, and due to COVID-19, she was working out of this location. I've been with Alison for the past year and a half, and she's awesome. She treated me for osteitis pubis previously (you can find that review under PT Solutions Peachtree Corners) and had me back to competitive running in 6 months. I've known runners who battled with this injury much longer. Steady dry needling therapy and strengthening around my pelvis did the trick. I've been using Alison for preventative measures and for any nagging spots. She's been nothing short of fantastic for keeping my competitive running going and going stronger. I've made some great gains this year and running faster at 41 than I have at any other point in my life. She always has something that's challenging and hits the areas that need to be worked. They are very clean here, and have used all proper measures during this pandemic to ensure safety of clients. Masks, sanitizing after every use and also only scheduling one-on-one with clients w/ set time slots (how great is that to get one-on-one, and also not great bc NO SLACKING). They have everything here at this location to get you back up and out there, plus they send you home with exercises. For me, I've found it's a great combo to mix in PT with my competitive running and weight training. I've seen the areas of weakness for me grow stronger during this time, and my stride/breathing becoming more efficient. Plus, they take insurance! I highly, HIGHLY recommend Alison!

Very easy to miss and it's not a huge space. Obviously, if you're coming here, you are here from some form of injury. My story started with Osteitis Pubis (pelvic inflammation), which took me out fully from competitive running. I was pretty desperate and worried about surgery. Thankfully I landed up here and in the hands of Alison Brock. This was my first experience with PT and first serious running injury where I'd be out for some time. I had no idea what to expect. My first visit was more an intro and figuring out what was wrong and where to start. We did deep tissue massage that day, and thus I got to learn what the "thumbs of death" are and what they can do. Subsequent visits then became dry needling. I can say I'm very much afraid of needles but it was much better than the deep tissue stuff. I also now fully believe dry needling is a great alternative. Alison is great at it, and put me at ease finding out she actually uses dry needling herself. Plus, if the 12 year old girl next to me can handle it like a champ, so can I! Alison taught me all the different types of exercises that would alleviate the pelvic inflammation and she went to work fixing all the referred pain and correcting overuse issues. We got to the point 3 months down the road where I could try running again but the pain in the hip was still there some. We stopped the running, and began fixing the issue again. I started running again 2-3 weeks later, had minor hip pain and then she videoed me running. That's when we had the major break through and tweaked one issue of my left leg not kicking up high enough behind me. With that tweak and some focused effort on making myself kick my left leg back higher plus some weighted exercises, we fixed the problem fully. They have everything here from a treadmill, stationary bike, weighted balls, dumbbells, a full out exercise machine that has it all, massage tables, TVs and all the other things to make you sweat! Be prepared for the first 5-8 minutes to be aerobic and then typically deep tissue or dry needling after. I am now back to running again, pain free and with better form and breathing. It'll be 2-3 months before the competitive racing starts again but she did an amazing job working with me and fixing the issue. The best part about all of this is learning pro-active techniques to keep the injury from coming back plus finding the exact issue that was causing continued hip pain. I am amazed at how one little tweak to body mechanics can alter everything for the better. This is exactly why PT is so important. I'd highly, HIGHLY recommend Alison. Also, the supporting staff here is amazing! I think the only negative I can say is that I won't be seeing them once I'm fully recovered (which is a positive to be done, but they become like family).
