Wonder what happened to some of the very good employees. Indeed & Glassdoor reviews from former employees are tale telling. People deserve better. After many life long failed attempts at seeking caring and competent treatment I have finally found providers who have helped in so many ways. In less than a year I've accomplished several goals that I hadn't been able to complete for years. I've had the good fortune to take advantage of their psychiatry, counseling, and social service offerings. All of which are delivered by professionals who are knowledgeable and provide valuable resources with care, kindness, and a strong sense of love of community. They truly want to help and they do. From Mimi's welcoming smile and offer of a great cup of coffee, to Erica's wealth of medical knowledge, to Kim's patience and keen understanding of people, this organization is structured to be a blessing to our communty and they deliver.

They were able to get me an appointment within the same week. I saw NP Marshe and she was so thorough and kind. It was so easy to talk to her and she explained everything to me and really listened to my concerns. The office atmosphere is top tier the decor has meaning and statement pieces throughout the entire office. I love the intentionality behind the space. The Village of Healing Center is the first and only clinic for Black women in Cuyahoga County. They have services for pediatrics, mental health and gynecology and obstetrics. They also have primary care services. They cater to the black woman holistically. I am so glad I finally called and made an appointment. I was nervous at first as I prepared to switch doctors, and hoped I made the right decision. All that concern left once I entered. The young lady who welcomed was so kind and genuine and she said she was so glad I came. She knew I was a first timer and explained the process to me. The artwork is beautiful and every exam room is named for a different medical pioneer of color. It was cool to read the different stories. My provider was so dope! She was patient, kind and so understanding. She was encouraging and a great listener. I already made another appointment, and I am actually looking forward to returning.

The next morning, I called Thriveworks to find out what was going on. The first person I spoke with told me Courtney cancelled the appointment. Not a big deal, things happen. However, she told me Thriveworks was charging me $138 for a cancellation outside the 48-hour cancellation window! I was transferred to billing who asked ME to provide proof the appointment was cancelled. I spent 40 minutes on the phone with Thriveworks trying to resolve the matter.
