So, I lose nearly $4,000.00, then had to pay again for new home owners insurance policy! So, insurance companies enjoy taking your money, yet when it's time to pay out or refund, as stated in the contracts, the insurance companies will pick up their ball and RUN home, because they lost. We hired Innovative Tax Solutions to help us amend a past tax return. We immediately reached out to the tax professional for help in resolving the duplicate payment. That was over a year ago. Since then, we've received excuse after excuse. We've been told that she "can't get through to the IRS," or that the IRS "needs another letter explaining the issue." Every time, we have to follow up ourselves and remind her to take action -- and even then, it feels like the bare minimum is being done. To this day, we are still out $3,000 -- money our family can't afford to just lose. What's even more frustrating is the lack of urgency or care on their part. We feel completely dismissed and forgotten. We trusted this company to help us fix our tax situation, but the lack of accountability and follow-through has made it clear we were just another file in a pile.
