New tack strips were added, and the carpet stretched so perfectly that no shoe moulding will be needed to hide gaps. Everything went well, removing of the previous tile backsplash and the countertops went smoothly. --- The counters were installed the next day and when the new tile came in, the crew taped with painters tape, cardboard down on the floors to protect them, fixe some drywall behind where the tile would be to ensure the tile adhered correctly and did a great job of installing the tile. WOLDE coordinates the previous tile backsplash removal and install of the new tile. (This was important to us as 2 other very good companies did not have their own tile companies and that required us to call the tile companies to coordinate, whereas WOLDE coordinated the counter tops and tile. Price was better than the other 2 estimates we received. (WOLDE, nor the other 2 companies we asked estimates from have their own plumbers and prefers the customer coordinates the plumber. (disconnect plumbing from the sink, then after counter tops where installed, plumber came back next day to reinstall the plumbing. (if you have a Gas stove, make sure the plumber disconnects that too.) We are very happy with WOLDE.
