Set in the sweetest studio in Meriden, the class taught and clarified everything I've been fumbling around with for four years on one of my photog boyfriend's Nikon SLRs. From lighting techniques to playing with ISO/aperture/shutter speed and photo composition, this class finally drew me away from the go-to camera auto settings and deeper into the previously dreaded manual setting. With the basics course as a prerequisite, Marisa also teaches a series of more advanced classes from portraits to product photography and one-on-one business mentoring.
