I went there at 2pm on a Tuesday and there was only one other table at the time. 10% discount for students by the way, as well as NHS.
It's close to University of Birmingham and is on a nice quiet street. Inside is cosy. The food was good. I can never pass up Korean barbecue, especially if I can cook it myself. Still hoping I can find an affordable AYCE (all-you-can-eat) Korean grill nearby, but maybe I've just been spoiled in the past, haha. No banchan (Korean side dishes) while waiting, but still overall a nice experience. Server was patient and Korean. I've been looking for a good tuna kimbap place in Brum for forever so I'm glad this option is available. It's also difficult for me to find samgyupsal (pork belly) in Birmingham due to a large demographic not eating pork, but I'm happy to have found some traditional Korean dishes here. The Pa Jeon (Seafood pancake) broke a little when I picked it up, but still great taste and lightly crispy on outside.
Thanks for a pleasant time. Seoul Plaza is also around the corner in case you want some more Asian snacks. read more
