Her prices are affordable and work is punctual. She remember everyone too! I had not been to see her in over a year and she still remembered me. I was recommended to Kim's through a friend who's been going to her for 11 years, and I was not disappointed. I took my wedding dress in to be hemmed about three inches and to put in panels to expand the chest about an inch and the dress was perfectly done, you can't even tell I had it tailored. I had an emergency! I was in my best friend's wedding and I had a suit that just did not fit. It was bought for me from overseas, and I guess the guy that bought it thought bigger was better. OH BOY! Not to mention it didn't come in until 4 days before the wedding, so I had little time to get this fixed and ready to go for the big day. Luckily I saw this place online when I was looking for a tailor. I had the best experience with them. Everyone is very calm, and they were understanding with my situation and got my order rushed with no problem. I was a little worried since so much of it had to be altered, but when I went to pick it up I was amazed at how good it looked. It was a totally new suit...that FIT. They have a changing room and mirrors to make sure everything is good, and the owner is such a nice lady she personally comes out and inspects everything with you. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a suit altered. They only accept CASH or CHECK so keep that in mind when picking up your item. read more

I have everything from military uniforms, suits, pants, jackets, and coats tailored. I hold a very high standard for all of my clothing alterations. I have been disappointed in the past with tailors on bases and around the metro. Since I found Kim's Alteration Shop she has hemmed multiple pants, relined jacket pockets, tucked blazer cuffs, and brought in mid sections on two blazers for me.
