my daughter took her wedding dress in to be altered. Put the dress on while being pinned up and…read moremarked , at this point there was nothing wrong with it. When she went to pick the dress up and put it on , she immediately noticed that the right side had. Yellowing on the dress. She pointed it out to the people at the shop and there reply was idk , don't understand what you're saying . Thats not an acceptable response for ruining her dress. She immediately took the dress to the dry cleaners next door to see if they could clean it . After picking the dress up she found out that the yellow marks didn't come out. At this point I went to alteration shop to confront them. First they tried saying that I brought them a dirty used dress. Absolutely not I said. Handed them the receipt showing them that dress was brand new. They had my daughter's dress for almost 60 days . During this time something happened to it ? They offered me $50 which was an insult . After multiple visits they actually came up to offering $1300. I refused that was not going to replace the dress they ruined. They said come back next week we see about fixing the dress. When we came back another employee that actually altered the dress said I no alter where the damage is so we not responsible. Totally unacceptable. After taking dress to multiple people for there opinions on what might of happened, there opinions varied from excessive heat from either steaming or pressing to something spilt on the dress and bad attempt at cleaning. The lady at Alterations's shop says I really sorry I not take in any more wedding dresses. This not ever happen before . After researching there revJews I discovered that this not the first wedding dress they ruined. As well as prom dresses . This place should not be allowed to continue to ruin people special days. I hope this review finds anyone that is considering using there services. At this point I've already purchased a new dress for my daughter. I refuse to let there incompetence ruin her special day. They obviously have no conscious. I am pursuing this issue in court to recover the cost of the dress they ruined plus cost of alteratoons. Will update with results after court . Btw do not pay in advanice with these people . They say she should not have paid and picked it up . But they had made her pay in advance therefore this was not an option !!! Red flags Red flags !!!!

I had a nightmare of a time getting my usual tailor to even return a week of calls so, at the last minute I needed a rescue and SIR CHARLES was that person. He was AMAZING!!!
