OMG. You guys. My old OK Sew Co review is just for silly old jeans. I wanted to update my review for a recent, amazing update I had done to a dress. Here's some background: I love Johnny Was. It is my favorite brand. I don't buy it often because it is expensive, but I scour for sales, and I always end up getting 1-2 pieces per year. This year, so far, I have bought four pieces because sales have been insane. I bought an amazing dress on sale from Neiman's online this spring, but it was a full size too big and way too long. I needed several changes: the arms shortened, the whole bottom shortened (but replaced with the original bottom piece because of the way the dress kicks out at the bottom) and it needed to be taken in everywhere. Natalie came to the house, and as she was pinning, I started to realize what an undertaking it would be. The end result is phenomenal. I love it even more than I thought I would. I think my favorite thing is that she added a drawstring so I can tighten it at the waist. Even after spending hours on my dress, she took the time to add a wonderful detail: to the ends of the drawstrings, she added some of the embroidery from what she had taken off. It was some absolutely amazing attention to detail and I was so thankful for the time she put in overall. I found the pricing and turnaround time both incredibly reasonable for what I needed done. I also appreciate Natalie for being so patient with my daughter (an extra extrovert who never gets to see humans anymore). Natalie was so attentive to and patient with her, even though it is not in the job description to dote on wordy four year olds. I know everyone always wants Laura, but Natalie is amazing. I will request her from now on because she is so talented. read more

She said from our first appointment that anything is possible. She was patient and put in so much time on my dress to make it exactly how I wanted and just absolutely perfect. I was desperately searching for a place to take some items to be altered- and I came across this business on Yelp and trusted several of the Yelp elites that raved so I tried them out. And I would HIGHLY recommend them! I looked at the website and was a little concerned about the lead time just bc I needed something in a quick turn around so i messaged them and they were able to get me in the next day! I was so thankful. It took about a week to get my item but they turned out perfect abs I am so happy to have it fit even better than it did before! We added a snap closure and took off a couple inches at the shoulders so no more busting out the front and I was so comfortable with the whole process. This is embarrassing but my dog chewed a massive hole in the crotch of my Lululemon tennis skirt. They don't make that color anymore and they're expensive. OK Sew Co fixed it for a very reasonable amount (wayy cheaper than replacing). it fits the same and is not noticeable. Great to work with & highly recommend. read more
