I moved to Greenville, TX recently and have been searching for a great donut shop in the area. I finally found one in Kim's Donuts. Two factors make a donut shop for me- the donuts (of course) and the staff. When the person selling you donuts is friendly and proud of the donuts being sold, that makes a great donut taste even better, right? Kim's Donuts has spectacular donuts at very low prices, a friendly owner, and that old, well-worn donut shop vibe. My wife and I stopped in on a recent morning and bought a half dozen donuts, along with some generously thrown in donut holes. We ordered a plain cake donut, an old-fashioned, a mini-cinnamon roll donut, a plain glazed, an apple fritter, and a chocolate frosted sprinkle donut. The plain cake donut, ate early in the morning, was a revelation. It's hard to find a perfectly executed cake donut- subtly crispy on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside. Her plain cake donut checked these boxes. Phenomenal. The mini-cinnamon roll donut was delicious. Quality cinnamon, pleasantly sweet, just amazing. The apple fritter was good, as were the donut holes. The others, I shared with my wife and son, who both heartily enjoyed their donuts. If you are anywhere around Commerce and want to savor some awesome donuts, stop by Kim's. This shop is the real deal. read more

Food is always a hit at Kim's Donuts and it's reasonably priced which makes it perfect for a college student if they want donuts without breaking the bank. This place is really good and fresh tasting! Love walking in the door to a smiling face. The couple that owns this place is so friendly! They tend to give us some donut holes for free along with what we order or even a full sized donut at times. Since this place opened several years ago, my family and I have gotten several chances to talk to the owners and they are the sweetest. They come so early in the morning to make fresh donuts every single day! The blueberry donut is a solid choice as well as the cream filled chocolate donut. Pigs in a blanket is also a good choice. They heat them up in the microwave right before they give it to you so it will be warm :) Honestly, whatever you get, you probably will not be disappointed because everything tastes so fresh. I love this place, the owners here are extrmely nice and helpful. They open early in the morning, so get there around 6 to get the fresh donuts. Timings 5:00 am to 1:00pm everyday. Fresh donuts. Coffee and cold beverages. Makes for a quick breakfast. Yelp should add timings to this place. They add in a couple of donut holes for free. Owners are very nice and courteous. read more

Mr. & Mrs. Kim live to make donuts. There is always a line for their delicious donuts. The Kims are from Korea and Mr. Kim only speaks donut english. Mrs. Kim will have a long conversation with you.
