The ladies know him and so they schedule him at a time when the shop is going to be calm and he can take his time getting in and getting in the chair with no one rushing him. They're so sweet to him. His hair looks great. And he enjoys visiting with them. Since I don't live in town and have to rely on his caretakers to bring him, I really Appreciate that I can trust the ladies who work here to take care of dad in my absence.

She understood what I was going for by asking the right questions and soothing any of my anxieties. I've gotten my hair done in these pricey, high end salans in NYC, LA, and D.C. because I move around a lot, but nothing has come close to Jennifer's talent. Besides all of that, Luxx is very involved in the community which I absolutely adore. You'll see an "Adopt Me" board from one of the local area rescues and in two minutes of conversation, you could see Jennifer's passion for it. I had a fabulous time and I can't wait to go back.

(Only negative--she could have brushed all the hair off of me after!!) ------------------ October 2015 2 months later; I was in town for a HS homecoming game and thought I'd get a touch up. Since the first cut in August from shoulder length to above the collar--was shorter than I've ever worn it and a brand new look/cut for me---it just needed a little tweaking. I wanted my 2 front cow licks to lay right after blow drying & the sides (by my ears) not be so heavy (I showed her) She seemed distracted because I shouldn't feel rushed--and that I don't have her undivided attention---but, I did. The tweak? To "me", my hair looks exactly the same--doesn't flow. I was in and out of salon in 20 min tops. Not sure, I will go back. Sad. Even though I was a walk-in I didn't have to wait long. They are very friendly, attentive and professional. Excellent haircut! I wish I found them first Went back for my2nd haircut with Brenda. This time I made an appointment. It's been about a month. In my first review I forgot to mention her name. Haircut #2 was excellent! In all fairness, I'm sure the other ladies are excellent and would do a great job. However, I am extremely happy that I got Brenda first.
