Have ordered via Uber eats since the end of September. Being from CA originally, I'm very picky about how the tapioca pearls are cooked/taste and same goes for the popcorn chicken. Both are the best I've had so far within a 30 min drive of the Cypress area. Since I've found Kim's, I've been ordering via Uber eats every 2 weeks or so and will continue to do so. I get the extra spicy popcorn chicken, 1 Thai tea with 2x pearls, and brown sugar milk tea with 1x pearls and it's always consistently good. I've tried over 10 other boba places to try to find a popcorn chicken I love, and I've found the best one here. read more

A very solid boba shop. If we can't go to bellaire this is the place we're getting boba at. I like their fruit smoothies and slurpies. Certain ones they use real fruit such as strawberries and pineapple. The drinks can separate though but that's ok. Their milk teas are also fine. Perfectly acceptable! Kim's Teahouse may not be the best quality tea in the world... but they are always consistent! I highly recommend their Thai Green Tea. It has a nice distinct flavor that doesn't get tiring. The real standout of their menu however is the popcorn chicken. It's fried perfectly and is always fresh and crispy. The seasoning is AMAZING and I love all the basil that they give. Kim's Tea House is my favorite Boba spot in Houston. They are consistent throughout all their chains, have drive-thru, and also have the best popcorn chicken! (Coming from someone who is Taiwanese and has had popcorn chicken in Taiwan). I recommend the sea salt jasmine tea, as it is a perfect refreshing and sweet/salty drink! I also really enjoy their mango smoothies/slushies. The teas are pretty good but the food is meh. I tried the cookies and they were not good. They were homemade but not made well, dry and lacking chips. The chicken chunks are chewy like jerky--not terrible but not what I'm looking for; the fried squid is very rubbery so it must be frozen. I don't care for it but my husband likes that you can get these lil tidbits extra spicy. The mini egg rolls are good. I wish, also, they would stop using the pad out the window in the drive thru. I hate that. Bottom line: go for the teas and smoothies!! read more

Kim's Tea House always have similar theme but it's own uniqueness and IKEA lights. This particular Kim's Tea House is bright, clean, simple and has two cute vending toy/keychain machines. Great place to snack, drink bubble tea, hang out with friends or study. Upon arrival, I noticed their selections are smaller compare to other Kim's Tea House - not necessarily a bad thing, just a thought for all of you Kim's Tea House fans. The staffs are friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking spaces, especially since Krispy Kreme Doughnuts next door close permanently. Boba are smaller than other locations but not bad, still has its nice chewy yet soft texture. Tea is sadly weak. read more

I got a strawberry banana smoothie and extra spicy popcorn chicken, and they suggested adding extra banana which was actually really good. The customer service was honestly the best part though. Alex and Michelle helped me out and they were both super sweet. They made my whole experience way better and definitely deserve some recognition. I'll for sure be coming back 10/10. read more

So happy to find a decent milk tea/ boba spot in Cypress area. I have tried several new places lately, especially near the outlet area and Katy where all the trendy places are popping up. However, the flavors are just not my... cup of tea? Lol! I came by unintentionally as I was just passing through the neighborhood, but also remembered a friend who recently mentioned about Kim's Tea House on Hwy 6! I tried the sea foam Jasmine milk tea with boba, mango green tea, and an order of spicy nuggets! Everything was great and I got my fix! Pretty much on point with the flavors and textures. The boba was smaller than most boba shops, but it wasn't too bad. Another bonus is that they have a drive-thru! Im actually happy about this bc the only drive through boba shop I know is Long's Coffee in Bellaire! Side-note: I was a little disappointed to find out they stopped serving banh mi sandwiches. There was a pic of the old menu with my favorite type of banh mi which was the shredded chicken... It's too bad they took it away. Hopefully they'll bring it back one day. read more

I love this place i've been coming since middle school & still stop by everytime when I am back in Houston. The food is great, their boba is always cooked really well & they have some unique combos other tea places usually don't. The manager is a kind man with good vibes!!!! There's board games & the decor is so cute. My only complaint is that sometimes the baristas are mean for no reason, but I get it, teenagers. Stopped by here to get some boba while my family went to grab some doughnuts from Krispy Kreme nearby. It has a nice and chill atmosphere with games you can play with whenever you come here to get a drink with friends or family, along with friendly staff too. Bad experience. Customer service was not great Ordered a drink and fries, went up to let them know I didn't like it because it wasn't sweet. The person tells me "oh it's your fault for not liking it, it's not our fault so we can't change it." Keep in mind I asked to pay for the difference on a new drink.. Drink was bland and unsweet. The Chinese place we intended to go to was closed, so we stopped here. They had food, and it became our new destination. This is a bubble tea place, but they also do food (chicken strips, popcorn chicken, egg rolls, fries, fried squid balls. Several people were there working on homework or gaming or whatever, so it's also a hangout. I had a strawberry green tea, fries, and chicken strips. You get a lot for the money, and it was all freshly cooked and tasty. My wife had a honey lime black tea with aloe vera jelly, along with fries and fried squid balls. Total ticket was a little over $30 (not counting tip). The place is cozy and comfortable inside. Everything was very good, and we'll definitely be coming back. read more

I hate leaving my dog in the car anytime and I loved the fact that they had a drive-through! I ordered their pork bun me with a side of their sweet potato fries. I also ordered a peach tea. For a bond me and a huge side of sweet potato fries it was only a roughly $8. I will never complain about too many fries of any kind. The bond me was very tasty and they Weren't singee with the jalapenos. Loved it. The sweet potato fries seasick fresh and were delicious.. Piping hot out of the fryer. The peach tea was OK definitely not my favorite kind but still enjoyed it. A little too tart for me but would definitely lead try the mango next time! Was craving a creamy iced coffee from a tea house today and I found this place nearby. Firstly, they are awesome for being open and serving us today even though this week has been crazy because of the snow/ice storm. I got the ice cream coffee and it was delicious. Just what I had in my mind. Like a super creamy iced coffee, but not a smoothie. It came with ice cream at the bottom of the cup but it quickly melted into the coffee and it tasted so good. Coffee had a great, strong and bitter taste. Not too much sugar. It was perfect ! ALSO THEY HAVE A DRIVE THRU THAT IS AWESOME . I really like this place! The drinks are really good. Not too much ice, a lot of flavor, and the boba is really soft. I normally don't like boba, but I can't stop thinking about how soft and easy it was to drink/eat the boba! The inside has the cutest wall of different kinds of teas! Example: Cute-tea, kit-tea.... This boba shop is one of the better boba shops in cypress. Actually, it's a contender for the best. It's clean, the employees are nice, their drinks are great, and their food is pretty good. This is my second time coming to this location in particular since my school is super close too. First time I had ordered a smoothie with wings and calamari. I wanted my spice level on my calamari at mild. When I received it, there was no spice on it. I ended up returning and it was handled. I just went for my second time for another smoothie with popcorn chicken. When the lady who was handing me my food I noticed my smoothie had A LOT of tapioca. I didn't ask for extra at all. I told her did they add extra, answered with no we use one scoop with every order. As if I asked for tapioca with some smoothie on the side.
