Mr. Ueno is a gentle, capable healer. After taking down a comprehensive health history, he listened carefully and formulated a treatment plan. There was a huge difference in my frozen shoulder after just one or two visits. My physical therapist was amazed at the dramatic recovery of mobility and encouraged me to continue treatments. When you walk into the space, you feel the relaxed calm, gentle lighting, and subtle aromatherapy that makes you want to breathe deep and let go. After trying physical therapy twice for my neck issues, I was told about Dr. Ziegler at Kind Accupuncture and have been so happy that I started going to see him. I've treated sports injuries with acupuncture for years when other methods and physical therapy weren't effective -- post-shoulder surgery, knee, neck, elbows, piriformis, and now lower back. I cannot more strongly recommend Dr. Ziegler and his staff. I found them through my insurance and followed up as most people do to look for reviews on line. I saw the reviews were positive and given the good reputation of Dr. Ziegler and convenient location, I made my appointment. Suffering from non-stop lower back pain due to disk degeneration (runs in the family) and vice like pain in my right hip because of it (not to mention numb arms from the same issue in my neck), I am thrilled to say that in a very short time, I feel so much better. What was honestly distracting and hard to handle pain is now gone. My regimen consisted of electronic stimulation (not sure of the accurate term), dry needling and adjustment. Don't fear the needle! The dry needling was not painful, and is similar to acupuncture in pain level (next to none). The team of ladies behind the desk and in the medical assistants have been kind and professional, and my appointments have been on time and efficient. They have been flexible and available whenever I've had to reschedule. In addition to all this? These are just really NICE PEOPLE.
