They also really understood the idiosyncrasies with last minute scheduling when it comes to fertility stuff, which was a huge relief. After a long and…read moredisappointing run of negative pregnancy test after negative test, my husband and I decided to give acupuncture a shot. After a month and a half of treatment with Julie, I was pregnant. Being an avid tracker of data I noticed that with acupuncture I had a pronounced increase in my basal body temperature around ovulation time. I was less stressed and had an overall sense of well-being. I ended up seeing Julie throughout my entire pregnancy. Every symptom I had was alleviated through acupuncture. If I had heartburn, congestion, nausea, any indigestion, you name it Julie was there. With a kind soul she provided the individualized care I desperately needed during that stressful time. My little guy is 7 months old now and I can't thank Julie enough for everything she did for us! I highly recommend the Nest and Julie

We trusted her enough with our care to fly halfway across the country back to Chicago to have her treat us, despite having moved to California and knowing that there are plenty of fertility doctors out here just as reputable. She truly is one-of-a-kind amazing. Our experience while living over 2,000 miles away from the FCI offices in Highland Park were nothing short of wonderful. Dr. Feinberg and her staff made sure that they went out of their way to treat us as if we were living next door. We received phone calls after hours because of the time change and Dr. Feinberg never hesitated to answer any question that we had, regardless of the time of day that we asked it. Our care was coordinated brilliantly, our concerns were handled brilliantly...it was all just great. I truly can't say enough about Dr. Feinberg which is why I came back to Yelp to update the review. If we hadn't already decided that we were going to stop growing our family at two children, I'd consider going back for a third just to be treated with the care and respect of Dr. Feinberg and her staff. She is in a league of her own.

She was so friendly, warm, and intuitive. It was my first time seeing a chiropractor, I was slightly nervous and def had many misconceptions about a chiropractor. But the whole experience was super positive. Her office is very comfortable and she has many resources. I love that she combines many different techniques and really customizes them to your needs. She is very knowledgable. During the session, she applied gentle pressure and pointed out some tight spots, which with some manipulation, felt much better after. I was pleasently surprised. She kept checking the baby to make sure it was moving and that she wasn't making me uncomfortable. Im keeping my fingers crossed that this baby turns, I've even scheduled a second session to prepare for my next ultrasound to check the baby position. A huge plus is she accepts insurance... go see her, she will help you!

We came in after not being able…read moreto conceive for a year and her office ran a multitude of tests in an attempts to diagnose the problem. Since there was no clear diagnosis we were told that we were considered unexplained and moved on to IUIs. After several unsuccessful IUIs we prepared for the IVF procedure. The procedure went smoothly and we completed a fresh transfer that resulted in a successful pregnancy. Pros: Quick response time, allows for input and consultations as needed, easy to schedule blood work and practically no wait times in the morning. Cons: Billing department is not always clear about what is due when which can lead to confusion (always double-check!), you are not able to write to a specific nurse so make sure to keep track of everything as all of the nurses are answering your messages and I have gotten conflicting advice before. Overall, hubby and I were pleased with InVia and would go back for a frozen transfer in the future!

My experience with Invia Fertility has been extremely disappointing and heartbreaking. I often felt…read morelike I was a number and a source of revenue rather than a patient going through one of the most emotional and difficult experiences of my life. The communication and patient care were very poor. I frequently had to explain my history and what I needed in almost every message, and I often had to follow up multiple times just to get a response. The nurses also frequently appeared unhappy or frustrated, which made an already stressful experience even more difficult. Blood draws were often unnecessarily painful, and I had multiple negative experiences with different nurses. The most devastating issue involved my husband's frozen sperm. My husband previously had testicular cancer, and the sperm samples stored at the clinic represented the only sperm we had available. Despite this extremely important information being in our medical history, all of his stored sperm samples were used without us being properly informed. We now have no sperm remaining. This is something we can never get back, and the fact that we were not adequately informed and that our file apparently was not properly reviewed is incredibly difficult to accept. We retrieved 18 eggs and used 7 of my husband's sperm samples and ultimately ended up with only one embryo. We paid for PGT testing. The result came back stating that no DNA was detected. After the embryo transfer, I unfortunately suffered a miscarriage. To determine whether the embryo had a chromosomal abnormality, we needed genetic testing on the sample collected after the miscarriage. This became another extremely frustrating experience. The order for the genetic testing was apparently never properly sent to the laboratory/clinic. My sample was stored for weeks without the testing being completed, and I had to repeatedly follow up with the clinic and with Dr. Karande to find out what was happening. I contacted them several times trying to get answers, while feeling like I was once again having to fight to get someone to take care of something that should have been handled properly from the beginning. Almost two months later, we finally received the results. The results showed Trisomy 15. This was devastating. We were originally told that the PGT result was "no DNA detected," and yet we ultimately learned through testing of the miscarriage tissue that the embryo had Trisomy 15. Had the appropriate genetic testing been properly completed in the first place, we could have had important information about the embryo before proceeding. Patients deserve careful attention to their medical history, clear communication, transparency about what is happening with their eggs, sperm, embryos, and testing, accurate testing, and compassionate follow-up. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering fertility treatment to do extensive research and consider other clinics before choosing Invia Fertility. If I could go back and make the decision again, I would choose another clinic. I wish I had known then what I know now.
