Kindred flooring is far the best flooring group your going to get. I used them to match and install hardwood flooring into the newly renovated nursery. Time was critical, baby was due in 3 weeks. I had 3 other flooring contractors come to give estimates. All three failed to check all boxes. Then I found Kindred. Wish I had called them first. They know the products, the trim, the business as a whole. AND , BIG AND, when they do the molding, they will also do the case molding around the door. I spoke with 10 installers on the phone, none will do case molding. Shop is very organized, lots of samples, employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Now for the installers. Top notch. They know their trade. That room has a step going into the closet. I couldn't figure out how to make it work with flooring. The installers did, they took my vision and made it happen. Plus they squeezed me into their calendar and got it installed just in time for babies arrival. They wore masks and were very clean. Before, during and after. Couple of years ago we were looking to redo our flooring and decided to have Kindred Flooring install vinyl planks over our existing engineered hardwood. Worked with Rachel through the whole process and was very happy with the result. Fast forward 2yrs, started to have problems with the planks which later we found out it was caused by foundation issues. Contacted Rachel again and had a number of conversations on fixing the foundation issues and Rachel lead us to a new laminate flooring. Her crew ended up tearing out the vinyl flooring and engineered hardwood and installed the new laminate flooring. I have been wanting to replace the carpeting in my two spare bedrooms with wood floors to match my existing wood floors that were installed 18 years ago. I had my husband call Kindred flooring and Rachel told him to send her a picture of our existing wood floors. About 15 minutes later she called him and said I'm sure I have something that will match very closely to the existing. The next day she brought out 3 samples so that I could look at them next to my existing wood floors and bingo I chose the one that was almost identical. We decided to have carpet installed in our living room to replace wood flooring we had removed. We went to Kindred Flooring based on their positive Yelp reviews. As soon as we walked in Rachel greeted us and was very friendly and personable. One of their little dogs also greeted us and was very friendly too. We were impressed by their showroom and quality of carpets they carry. We told her what type of carpet and color we had in mind and she showed us several options. We also needed baseboard molding to be installed since the previous baseboard was no longer in good condition. Jesus was very courteous and professional when he came to our home to get measurements of the room for the carpet and to see the type of existing baseboard we had in the surrounding rooms so he could find more to match. He came again with his crew on the installation day to go over the work that was going to be done. After the installation, Jesus called us to follow up. We told him about some minor details with the baseboard molding installation and that we were going to need some wood trim in a couple of areas to fill in some gaps. Jesus came to our home with wood trim samples and to see the baseboard details. Once the work on the baseboard molding and wood trim pieces was completed, Jesus showed up to make sure we were completely satisfied. Everything exceeded our expectations! The carpet feels and looks great. The baseboard molding and wood trim pieces were a perfect match too. We are very happy we went to Kindred Flooring.
