He doesn't just crack unnecessary joints, and he tells you exactly why he is doing what he is doing. On my last visit, I had asked if I could be squeezed in if possible as I was leaving the country for 10 days and my jaw had seized up completely. Last time this had happened was due to stress, and it had lasted a week. I'm unable to eat when this happens as I can hardly move my jaw. Dr. Lawson saw me within 2 hours of me calling. Dr. Kanji was very professional and started the appointment with an information session about Chiropractics and what his plan of attack would be. He did a scan of the nerves in my back and took X-rays so he could assess any underlying issues. Dr. Kanji also sets up an information appointment to go over all of the x-ray results in detail. He went over everything in my file and we looked at the x-rays together, which was really refreshing. I've been in for about 4 adjustments and I cannot believe the changes I've noticed. The tension in my neck and shoulders has reduced significantly and I'm also sleeping better at night. The office is extremely cozy and relaxing and I'm always greeted by name when I come in. There are also payment plan options available if you only have limited coverage through your benefits. The initial examination was more thorough than I expected and on my next visit I got a chart indicating which areas of my spine were responsible for my symptoms and it really was helpful because that's exactly what was going on in my body. So often we self diagnose without including the spine in our assessment. For that matter many MDs don't suggest a visit to a chiropractor if their tests all come back normal. So there you are not feeling good but not knowing why. The initial assessment connected a lot of dots and Dr. Lamont recommended a treatment plan which I really made sure I followed to help myself. The results are really encouraging and I now sleep deeper and am waking more refreshed still a bit to go there. My digestion elimination have improved the most. No more IBS. That alone was worth the price of admission. Dr. Lamont always checked on symptoms before every adjustment and on a certain number visits revisited my initial assessment including a foot checkup.
