I recommend Lazlo for massage and would give him 5 stars. However, I have had a few massages here that would be in the 1-3 stars range.

I have used 2 different massage therapists at Country Hills Massage Therapy over the 5 or 6 years I went there. Mandy and Shannon. Both are deep tissue massage therapists and both are excellent. If I couldn't get in to see one I would go to the other. I have shoulder and back issues due to car accident many years ago. We moved to the south last year, so I thought I would try and find someone closer to me to go to and I have now been to 3 different therapists. Two have them have been very good but then they were also $35-$70. more for a 90 minute massage. It's worth the 35 minute drive for me to go back. I hope to get in to see in of them very soon. read more

I had the best massage of my life!!! I have been experiencing severe back pain since giving birth to my son. I couldn't sleep at night. I've tried everything over the past three months (physio, cupping, acupuncture, massage elsewhere, muscle relaxers, you name it). Last night I got a massage from Christina, who was able to find the source of the pain and did some serious work. She explained everything she was doing and why throughout the massage and was able to release a ton of the knots and pressure in my back and shoulders. Last night I slept. I am forced to rewrite my review because someone has complained. they didn't like what I wrote which pisses me off because I did not violate the guidelines on here. I've seen two different massage therapists here: one was good while the other made me feel more pain/worse. I am glad I found the good therapist as she really works hard on your knots to release your muscles. Painful but needed. On the down side, the girls who work here can get a bit chit-chatty at the front desk, which doesn't reflect too well on the establishment. I've also had a time where I arrived 5 minutes early and sat waiting only to have my therapist walk into work a few minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Instead of hustling, she made a point to stop by and talk to another therapist and receptionist for a few more minutes before getting ready to see me. Not the most professional place I've been to but the price is good and the good therapist can get the job done. read more

If you should need to cancel an appointment with a massage therapist, this clinic requires that you call two hours before it is scheduled. That is perfectly fair. Today, I had an appointment booked at 11:45am; I had to cancel due to work related issues and called at 9:21 having a client with me (this is 6 minutes past the cut-off time). I was told that I had to pay the full fee because I called 6 minutes too late and that it was unfair to the therapist. What aggravates me is that when I called an hour later to see if I could still come in (feeling badly about cancelling and rescheduling a business meeting) I was told that my time was filled, BUT I would still have to pay the full fee for being 6 minutes late in cancelling. So not only do they make $60 from me for no service rendered, they made $60 from the customer who filled my time slot (they apparently had no issues filling that space). To keep all of this in prespective, let me note that in the last 4 months, I have spent over $500 at this massage clinic; my family also goes here for a myriad of issues and spends a substantial amount of money. When I showed up at the clinic and tried to speak with the receptionist about the issue, I was rudely informed that policy is strictly enforced by the owners and management "regardless of how many times you have been here, even if its a hundred and I am not losing my job because of this." I was shocked by the lack of personable or pro-active customer service. I just paid my $60 for being 6 minutes later in calling in my cancellation and left. Suffice it to say, I will not be back, nor will my family. For the sake of their $60 for no service rendered, Country Hills Massage Therapy has lost at leat $1,500 a year in treatments which they would have made from myself and my family. I've had better massage therapists, but those are the ones at specialty Spa's that you pay an arm and a leg for. My husband and I come here only. The prices are really good, the reception has always been nice when I come in and the massage therapists I've had are pretty good. They put a lot of pressure when you ask and they massage what you want them to. They listen to you. Sometimes the massage therapists talk too much but if you're not shy you can just ask them if there could be silence. read more

I have had many massages here before. Never have I had a problem with the receptionists. Everyone I've been to is registered. They provided me with excellent service and are very reasonably priced! I recommend this place to anyone as they have a variety of therapists who do certain styles or techniques that are very relaxing and therapeutical. I've been to a lot of massage therapists and Cheryl is definitely one of the best. After a nearly unbearable massage therapy session here, I will not be going back. I had sent an email reviewing my experience there and was never given a call back or even an email back to discuss my complaints. Not only was my therapist highly inexperienced, she was horribly ill coughing and sneezing the entire time. Also, using her phone off and on in the appointment. Very unprofessional and very unhealthy. I have never been in a massage before, trying to be relaxed and all I can think of is how much longer it will take. Do not waste time with this massage place. It's cheap for a reason. Therapist was a no show, nobody informed the customer. I showed up and had to wait 20 mins for nothing and they offered no alternative to the resolve the issue. There's no manager to escalate issue to. They think they could get away with treating client like crap but they're wrong. This is not the stone age, they don't know how to run a business. Don't bother wasting your time, schedule your appointment somewhere else where they value you as a customer. read more

If I could give this business zero stars I would I went yesterday - the "manager" who i'm pretty sure was the owner forced me to pay for a missed visit TWO years ago. Let me start off by saying I am by no means the type if person to complain or write a review for that matter but I feel it absolutely necessary to let everyone know my experience at this place. I have been lucky enough to be able to receive massages weekly but my masseuse lives her life and occasionally goes on vacation where in that time I decided to get a pick me up massage and called country hills to see if I could get in ASAP as my back has been quite bad for sometime. My massage there was one if the most painful experiences I have ever encountered. The masseuse who unfortunately didn't get the name of but was of East Indian decent I believe started off my massage using her knuckles, elbows and fore arms. That's it..that's all she used. Not to mention all her body weight behind those things. Not once. Not twice. Not three times but about 6 times I asked her to lessen the pressure. Now don't get me wrong, I like a little more pressure and have quite a high thresh hold for pain and normally don't like to say anything to the masseuse because i dont like to offend and just deal with it but this was excruciating. I was not relaxed the entire time and felt like I was tensed up while she worked on me..at one point I said "the pressure is fine at first but after the muscles get sore I can't take that pressure so lighter pressure would be great" and she replied "ya, that happens". Wow. Thanks. I have received massages all around the city and the world with varying different techniques and this was just bad over all. Very very bad and painful. I feel the bruises coming. I never even made it as far as to have a massage at this place. I booked an appointment online, where it clearly says this is not a confirmed appointment and to await an email. The appointment I booked was for only a few hours later so I called to confirm it. When I called, the receptionist I spoke with told me that the therapist I was booked in with was not recognized by Blue Cross (my insurance provider) at which time I said "oh that's ok then, I don't want to come anymore" because why on earth would I pay for an appointment when my insurance will cover so many other places? I got a phone call 10 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start from the office manager who rudely informed me I had missed my appointment. I said "no, I told the lady I spoke with earlier that I wasn't going to be coming as she isn't recognized by Blue Cross." The rudeness and attitude was over the top- I cannot even fathom speaking to a customer that way when you're the OFFICE MANAGER! Wow. I LOVE this place, I have been going for over 4 years and have never had an issue. I'm surprised that people think when they don't show up for an appointment that it's no big deal and that they shouldn't have to pay. I have been getting massage therapy for a very long time and I know that therapists get paid only when clients come in. So when you don't have the courtesy to call to cancel, and then you don't show up, they aren't compensated. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for an awesome massage, all of the therapists I have tried have been great. read more

I have been going to this clinic for years. For some reason many people chose only to write negative reviews so I will be writing a positive one. CHMT has amazing therapists with lots of exprience. I have tried at least 8 therapists for relaxation, therapeutic and hot stone massages and loved each of them for various reasons. I go to various salons and spas throughout the city and the majority of them have a 24 hour cancellation policy so....a 2 hour cancellation notice is more than reasonable. If you want a great massage at a warm and beautiful clinic then I highly suggest giving CHMT a try. read more

I recently had my 1st massage here and am completely impressed with the service received. There was miscommunication when I originally booked so when I got there my appointment wasnt there but the receptionist was apologetic and accommodating (I believe it was Rhonda?) I came back later in the day and had a much needed massage by Robin. I have been suffering with sciatica for a couple months and she gave me so much info on my own body and relieved the pain incredibly. I can finally put on pants like a normal person. After the massage she referred me to a chiropractor for more information as there was some realigning that is needed. She spent the time with me that I needed and made my 1st experience very comfortable. I highly recommend this clinic. read more

This place is horrible!!! The worst customer service ever! not only did I show up one time for an appointment, leaving work early only to find out when I got to the clinic I was no longer in the computer system and no one was able to see me. Not only did I show up the other day and my massage therapist was 15 minutes late, the reception didn't bother to tell me until I was already missing my appointment. when the therapist did show up in order for her to get back on schedule she shortened my 60 minute massage and I still had to pay full price. I never complained at either of these events but this last one with my husband takes the case. My husband was told his appointment was on Monday the 20th. Well on Sunday the 20th when he didn't show up he received a call 10 minutes past the supposed appointment time and he was told he would have to pay the full 80 dollars because he missed his appointment. He didn't miss his appointment, he never received a follow up call or email at all and was given the wrong day which he did book in our appointment book. when I asked to speak to a manager about the situation and how it wasn't are fault that we were told the wrong day I thought the manager would understand and apologize to us for the mistake. Instead she told us it was a he said she said situation and her hands were tied and he never called to cancel his appointment so she had no choice but to charge him!!! it wasn't our mistake and yet we are being charged and being told it was our fault. So angry right now. DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!! Customer service is extremely lacking and the girls at reception have no idea what they are doing. SOOOO MAD. read more

One star for sure! My massage was awful! First off, the place is a dump. Just black and depressing. It honestly looked like a place you'd go to get sex real cheap. The masseuse was fairly gruff and unfriendly. The atmosphere was garbage! The music was grating and irritating, the lighting was too high and it was soooo noisy! Honestly, I could hear every transaction the receptionist was making. I could hear them running laundry. At one point my masseuse stopped because he mistook a soft knock on the door beside us for a knock on our own door. The masseuse literally didn't care about what I had asked him to do and just did a light kind of rubbing. Then he would switch to this stabby, jerky, poking motion. He would land on a tense muscle and then poke at it for half a second and then move on. NO HELP! Oh, and he kept BURPING! He was knocking items over, slamming bottles down, banging into things. It was so loud and irritating. And that is what $100 gets you at this place. You might think my review is only applicable to the masseuse I had, but I guarantee you will never relax at this place. I would never go back. Avoid it like the plague. read more
