Amazing falafel pita sandwiches here stuffed to the BRIM with amazing falafel, veggies, and tahini. We got our food very fast and it was amazing. I highly recommend and would definitely return.

Our first stop in Paris. Fantastic. We got the falafel and chawarma. Both were incredibly delicious with fried onions and delicious roasted eggplant. The service was quick and easy. A must stop while in Paris!

Was hoping to try the L'As du Falafel, but an expected bathroom flooding caused them to close. This place was nearby and ranked solidly on Yelp. It lived up to the 3.5 star reputation; tasty but not necessary something to go out of your way for. Pita Mixte: The chicken shawarma was awesome. It tasted so rich, it could have easily been chicken confit. And they got a nice sear on it too. Meanwhile, the falafel itself was a tad disappointing. Not crispy at all, kinda thin and long. The other veggies and sauces were fine; the roasted eggplant was especially notable.

They serve "plates" with a side of bread or "pita bread" filled with deliciousness. It was very tasty. The bread was warm. I loved the little portions of everything. Very nutritious and filling.

Rude aggressive owner Empty restaurant Def don't go if you have family or ladies. So we went to that area for falafel, there were 3 options this and the other 2( other 2 were great), so this place was empty and that came first so I went in to get a beer and my wife and kids were waiting outside and they saw big line next door so we thought let's go check it out. Well, I paid for my beer and asked them if I could use their bathroom I wanted to pee, I used their bathroom, than went next door to eat one of the MOST amazing falafel ever. While we were eating outside - The Owner of this pace marched towards me and was so angry that I used their bathroom (which I bought beer from) and was eating a $5 felafel next door. He started yelling and swearing in front of my 4 and 6 years old and my wife. He was waiting outside all day long to see how many customers the other store had and he had none. No wonder he has no customer. He don't deserve customers. Also besides the rudeness their place was crap. Don't go there go where the lines are. Use his bathroom tho. That will make him more upset.

All hail the king! Wandering around Le Marais, I knew I couldn't leave without some falafel. When L'As du Fallafel was closed for the week, this stand came up next and we went for it. For only 5 Euro I got a perfectly soft pita stuffed with freshly fried falafel balls, hummus, vegetables, and more, all sprinkled with their tangy hot sauce. Heaven. I do not know how it compares to others around the area but it was certainly perfect in my book. We devoured our creations outside on a table to refuel before pounding the pavements again. It was a tad annoying listening to the waiters yell in front of us to lure more customers our way but I was too entranced with my falafel to care.

There is another Falafel place about 100 meters to the left of this place (if you are facing the restaurant standing outside), which we walked by on the way to this place, and the aforementioned "other" Falafel place had an extremely long line... probably 30-40 people deep. So we were inclined.. and we had to have Falafel. And this place had a line of maybe 10 people. Falafel is tough to get right. And this place did it! It was extremely tasty. The pita was put together well also, did not sog / fall apart / etc... like may happen at a much lesser quality place. Also, I had been drinking and had a "walker" and they let me come in with that "walker" as well. Which I liked. All in all, it was quite delicious.

I liked this Falafel place in Paris much better than the overrated one next door. We ordered a falafel plate and a kefta kabob plate. The kefta was amazing, quality meat and quality food, unlike L'As de Falafel where the chicken was rubbery! Waiters were extra helpful and nice. Will definitely come back during my next visit to Paris.

My favorite falafel on the Rue de Rosiers! Good place to come to eat, or grab a to-go order. The people who work here are very friendly! I recommend this place if you want to get a great falafel.

I never thought too much about falafel in the US, but this place changed my prospective! The falafel here was so massive that I was initially dumbfounded when it was handed to me. This was literally the first thing I ate in Paris, and boy, that's when I was really in the city of great food. Because King Falafel Palace was next to my airbnb, I just wanted a quick snack because I wrongly assumed it was small like in the US. The portion was enormous! Aside from the lettuce and the fried fritters, I can't identify what else are in the wrap but I didn't try to identify because it was so delicious that I was too busy munching it down while trying not to make a mess. For I believe under €10, the falafel here can really fill you up! Apparently there is a more famous falafel down the street and I didn't try that one, but I thought this one was already pretty good so if you don't want to wait in line, give King Falafel Palace a shot!

This part of the Marais can be a cramped convergence of foot traffic from the Pompidou, the Place des Vosges, and the many other shops that are clustered around, but King Falafel is a little beacon where you know that you can get a solid takeaway meal that will fuel you for the rest of the day. There is another adjacent falafel place that the New York Times has raved about and that has high reviews, but King Falafel is open more regularly, and is still a fine choice. Step up to the to-go window and place your order. Even a basic falafel pita is still a massive handful of food, including crispy tasty falafel rounds topped with shredded cabbage, cucumber, tomato, frizzled onions, grilled eggplant, and a liberal dressing of tahini. Paired with a cold can of Coke and you are in business. If you are taking the sandwich away, grab extra napkins because the tahini is liable to leak. Pro-tip: If you don't want to eat standing up, amid a zoo of people, walk back towards to the Place des Vosges, on the Rue de Francs Bourgeois. You will soon come upon a little enclosed park on your right with benches. This a nice quiet spot to enjoy your meal.

After raving about how great I thought L'as du falafel was, my friend who had already been in Paris for a semester said that I had to try King Falafel first before I decided which had the best falafel in Paris. So on a saturday afternoon, when we were actually intending to go to L'as, we got there and realized they're closed saturdays. Luckily, this place is just down the street. There wasn't really a line at all for this place and the inside seating area was almost empty save for 2 other tables. The inside is a lot more modern looking and clean than L'as. Me and two of my friends ordered the falafel platter and then the shawarma platter. Both of them came out pretty fast and were big portions but for those prices thats what I expected. I think each platter was in the price range of 15€-17€. The shawarma platter was so good. The meat was tender and flavorful and the hummus and everything else that came with it was so good. The falafel on the other hand...I cant compare it to L'as. I cant say which one I definitely prefer because they're so different! L'as has a lot denser and crispier and bigger pieces of falafel. King's falafel are in smaller pieces and are extremely light and fluffy on the inside. They're both sooo good! I do have to say that the eggplant that they give you on the side is a lot better at L'as because it was really cold at King. BUT the best thing about the food at king falafel was that they served their food with crispy onion strings which were amazingggg with the food!

Missing pictures…read more... Quality/Quantity - Just follow the line. Just look for the longest and busiest line and it will be there. Actually, there are two lines, one for take away (on the left) and one for sit down. Both lines are just as long, but the take away moves much faster. Fairly organized. For the take away side, an employee takes orders while you wait in line, to expedite the process. (If you are from CA, think of an In and Out burger drive thru business model). Overall the food is good and reasonably priced. And great advertising seeing everyone walk around with your "sandwiches." Ambiance - Crazy busy. Both inside and outside. But plenty of employees (again both inside and outside). Fairly organized considering the volume. Service - Good. Price - Reasonable.10-15 Euros for a pita sandwich. $11.60 to $17.50 US. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1978.

On first pass, there was a line at the take-out window. When I returned to dine in, there was a rather significant line there as well. My party of 2 was apparently the magic number because they had us stand in the front of the line and we were seated inside almost immediately. The food here is served so rapidly that I seriously doubt anyone needs to wait long as there's a constant turning of tables. Schwarma and Fallafel and whatever else we consumed here was so fresh, delicious, and satisfying that I tried coming back here again the night before leaving Paris. Unfortunately for me, they close early on Shabbat, so I had to be satisfied with my single visit. Outstanding experience, delicious food as over 2,000 reviews already attested to.

That's what drew us to the fresh Israeli fare at this casual cafe. At around 7PM, the place was hopping because there were quite a few people not only dining but also waiting for takeout orders. We planted ourselves at the counter facing the busy prep area where the staff was assembling plates and pitas. We decided to share the 7,50€ Green Beans which looked to be quickly sautéed in lemon, garlic, and olive oil to a fresh, tasty snap (Photo 10). Jamie ordered the 13€ Golden Ratatouille, a healthy melange of eggplant, tomato, zucchini, carrot, and onion mixed in their house tomato sauce with a nice side of hard-boiled egg and tahini (Photo 8). Well, I thought one of us should try their specialty pita sandwiches, so I went with the 13€ Lamb Kebab. It was delicious with big lamb and beef meatballs peeking out of a nice fluffy pita stuffed with red onions and chopped cilantro, mint, and green onions. It was slathered liberally with tahini and their housemade spicy sauce (Photo 9). It was just the Middle Eastern meal we were hankering for. We can have escargots and croissants some other time. The cauliflower and sweet potato are visually stunning and well-roasted, but ultimately the condiments the restaurant offers don't compensate for the neutral preparation. Even tomato sauce, hot sauce and salt together couldn't coat the cauliflower in a satisfying way. When the vegetable is cooked with the idea of its being a blank canvas, it can't be retroactively perfected. Table salt should be a garnish, not the savior of a meal. The sweet potato fares better since I could mainline that vegetable, but if a roast sweet potato is that good without any seasoning, there's no reason to pay a restaurant premium for one. I am not trying to denigrate the concept of Miznon, because to do so would be to miss the point, but I would argue that I only ever need to experience Miznon once for novelty and then can move on to genuine meals at restaurants that justify the cost of dining out.
